Kabayan Noli interviewed a woman who has the same story like yours. She was also approached by an immigration officer. On the comments alot of people are sharing similar experiences. according to Kabayan, yearbook hindi dapat tinatanong. Magsama-sama kayo para mapalitan lahat ng corrupt IO. Dapat makulong sila, maalis sa position, at maalis din ang pension nila since people’s tax are paying them.

Fully agree. Public service is public trust. Its the people staffing this bureau has a mindset issue. The person responsible has to be fired, para masampolan....and re-training and orientation of the immigration personells....starting to miss former Pres Duterte ...

Cguro po nangyari n dn to para magkaroon ng boses ung mga ganto horror na pang yayari sa immigration dahil for sure nd lng po ito sainyo nanyari ngunit ung iba ay wala kakayahang ipaglaban Thank you po dahil kau po ang naging boses nila upang mgkaroon n ng kaliwanagan at katarungan ung mga ganto pang yayari super bilib po aq sainyo maam sana makarating ito ky sir raffy tulfo para mas magkaroon ng justice ang lahat ng naka ranas ng ganto... That's a very good question Ms Yiga! However the PAL staff won't say anything which is understandable. Because they are afraid to say anything their job is on the line. They don't know who is behind the female immigration officer who engaged and hold Mr yiga. And that's not their job to question officer. That's why nobody can stop the corruption of that female immigration officer. That's one problem in our country and people are not encouraged to speak out even though the know that the situation they saw is not right. Ms Yiga keep clarifying and fight what is right for our kababayan. My hat off to you! Thank for sharing your video.

Sana magsama² na ang may mga complaint about NAIA particularly sa IO, para malinis na ang airport sa kagaya nila,,we know theres a lot of our kababayans na had/having same issues na hindi na reklamo dahil sa kawalan ng kakayanan. Hope MRs.Yiga will pursue this case to serve as the voice of the many victims.

I watched both videos & I feel sorry that you had to go thru all those. I commend you for sharing this so that this does not happen again. Just my opinion: 1) PAL’s holding of your husband’s passport the time he was sent back to the holding area was probably a mistake but whether they held the passport or not would not have changed the situation. 2) PAL’s head of the holding area could have questioned why your husband was sent back and it might have averted all of these. I’m not siding with PAL. I still believe you should file a case against the Bureau of Immigration since PAL is willing to give you the name of the immigration agent & a copy of the CCTV. You deserve moral & compensatory damages for all that you went thru.

I work in the airport before airlines personel are not allowed to approach the immigration personnel. The immigration officer can approach the passenger in the holding area and explain the reason why they hold the passenger. But it is not a ground to hold your husband just because they hold him in Hongkong. Every Country has its own jurisdiction for its own borders. When a traveler has its proper documentation presented to the officer. Immigration personnel should let him enter our country. The issue is about money most likely the officer incharge want a money from your husband.

I sent you an email about our experience with PAL staff holding passengers passports at the transfer lounge. My husband works with the US government and has reported the issue to the people he knows, and the issue will be submitted to the US Embassy Manila and will be brought up to the Philippine government. Thank you for letting everyone aware of this BS that they are doing!😊

I experienced the same. While waiting for the shuttle bus from T2 to T1 for my Toronto flight, the arrogant PAL male employee in shuttle transfer desk took my boarding pass and passport for checking purposes. But he kept my documents especially my passport for around 15 minutes while waiting for the bus. I asked to get my documents back but the arrogant @PAL employee just told me to sit down or you're not allowed to take the shuttle bus! That was 2019. Last January 2023, the transfer desk guy just checked my boarding pass while waiting for the bus. I think someone complained back in 2019.

@@acand1944 One of the reason why I always avoid flying with PAL. Most of their employees were stupid; as if traveling Filipinos were ignorants and they (most PAL employees) were the supreme being employed by PAL. They do not know that they were a point away from our respectable house helper - a "muchacho and muchacha" in sleek uniforms. I hate flying with PAL.

These people who works for PAL or NAIA made their best to make up for what they have done which is another history of very humiliating incident. Obviously, that female immigration officer wants "grease money" from your husband. Immigration office will for sure cover-up their staffs' wrong deeds. Whether we admit it or not, there are still several airport officials roaming around preying on our poor ofws as well as to tourists.

Walang pag kakamali ang pal. S emigration ang issue nd ang pal. Kasi ang nag denied s kanya ay emigration. Emigration is ạ government agency. Sila lng may karapatan o may power n mag hold o mag deny ng isang pasahero. Specially s foreigner. Ang pal nman ay privately own. Ang duty lng nila ay masigurado n makaalis o dumating ng maayos at safe ang pasenger nila. Yan ang duty nila wala silang jurisdiction para questionin ang emigration when it comes to national security. S totoo lng pasalamat sya nd pinabayaan asawa nya hanggang s huli ng PAL. Kc s ibamg bansa ang nakahold sya s emigration holding area n may escort palagi san man sya pumunta within the airport facilities. Consider kc sya us eligal allien. Yung ginawa lng ng pal ay pakunswelo lng dahil vlogger sya. S tingin m kung s ibang mangyari yan mag kakaroon sya ng vip treatment d b wala kc nd nman sya ang nag karoon ng problema kundi asawa nya s emigration. At walang naging problema ang asawa nya s Pal during flight.

Sana po mapansin ng mainstream media yung inyo pong vlog kungsaan ay idinitalye nyo yung nagyari sa NAIA Terminal 2. Ewan ko kung magbabago pa ang kalakaran diyan sa ating paliparan. Alam naman ng karamihan na pera pera lang dahilan kung bakit hindi pinapasok ang asawa niya sa ating bansa. Sa PAL naman kaya ka inassist nila saung pagbalik ay para pampalubag loob sa pagkakamali nilang gunawa saung asawa.

I think tama lahat ng sinabi ng lawyer ninyo. I like watching border control ng ibat ibang bansa. Kapag na hold ang passenger, it is the immigration officer who holds the passport and indi din obligation ng airlines to interfere with the immigration process.

Correct. PAL has nothing to do with it. Whatever the reason why HK , did not allow him entry, we dont know. The Phil immigration just follow it & hold him.

Hindi nya Alam ang travel advisory na kung mag travel ang foreign spouse kailangan kasama ka na Filipino spouse kung mag isa lang mag travel ang foreign spouse kailangan may approve Philippine visa. Yon siguro na hold ang passport nya at hindi sya pinayagan ng immigration at pina balik sya sa county nya.

@@elvirawolanin2609 Nakapasok na sya sa Pinas days before pa. Nag BGC pa nga with his friend(s). Gusto ni Mr Yago pumunta ng HK pero ang booked flight ay Uganda - Phil - HK - Phil dahil cheaper instead of Uganda - HK - Phil (if I’m not mistaken)

Good day! Yan immigration sa Airport ay sumusobra sa pagganap ng tungkolin .marami din ako karanasan dyan sa Bu. of Immigration lalo sa NAIA airport. Tama Dhay ang ginawa mo laban at kawawa ang nga pasahero na biktima nila. Traveller din ako at nanggaling din ako sa Kenya noon pa year 2000. Dapat talaga investigation dyan ng malalim kasi ang kaya lang nilang tao ay yong mga kawawa na hitsura na nagsusumikap na makarating sa ibang bansa. Marami na talaga ang na offload na paxs pero tumatahimik lang. Keep fighting for the truth! God Bless

This is abuse of power from BI. They are not following the law and violating travelers rights. PBBM must resolve this corrupt practice by BI to ensure travelers won’t be treated unfairly. Corruption is back in NAIA BI.

I really suggest to file a class lawsuit action. Mag join force kayong lahat na nabigyan ng case reference from BI. Mukhang ang gulu gulo ng ating paliparan. Hindi nila alam kung anu unang bibilanging profit, sa testing, sa vaccine pass or sa mga kukurakutin sa biktimang pasahero. Mukhang kanya kanya silang area e. Hahahaha

I guess it pays to be a vlogger and an influencer, they must know you have a huge following, mas maganda na yung manigurado sila they get good reviews from you, because you have a big reach on social media. My sister and her family flew to Canada via PAL. 4 kids ang kasama nila 9yo with autism, 8yo, 5yo, and a 5mo baby. Super assist sila ng PAL and very nice daw sila. Di naman vlogger or influencer kapatid ko. She just asked nicely. So I don’t think may special treatment sa Yiga family just because she’s a vlogger.

Matagal ng gawain yan ng mga taga BI,na experienced ko yan noon way back 2008,first time kong dumaan sa agency,pero 3x ko ng balik ng LEbanon. naka BAnned noon ang lebanon dahil sa War,pero gusto ng amo ko na bumalik ako,kaya pinadaan sa Agency. MAy kasabwat cla sa loob n mga IO,waiting kami nun ng signal,maya maya may ngPM sa amin at sinasabi na kung saang window kami pipila,pero grabe ang KABA ko noon,kc first time ko na ganun,dahil never akong dumaan s agency kc direct hire ako nung frist at 2nd n abroad. 👊🤟🤟

yung asawa mo po sana ang kinausap nila hindi yuna immigration officer. tulad ng ginawa sa akin noon, ako ang kinausap hindi yung officer, sana po ituloy mo ang kaso para hindi na maka biktimang muli ang babaing officer na yan. Thank you for sharing para ma aware po ang iba.

Airlines has no right to hold/handle the passport of a passenger, only the IO if they are deporting somebody. Like I said before, mayroon talaga mga airline ground personnel ay ka kutsaba (colluding) with IO for money.

This statement is inaccurate. Pls be very careful in giving information especially if you can’t prove it. Ms Yiga is gathering reliable information. I hope people will only comment facts. Immigration Officers do endorse pax passports to airline employees with signed endorsement papers when necessary and this is practiced NOT ONLY in the Philippines.

PAL management seems Bias. Bakit kailangan apat apat na staff ang mag assist at isang buong bus ang naka antabay just to transfer the mag ina. Paano kung may isang family silang nakasabay na may mga bata din? Baka sabihin bakit sila tinulungan na parang VIP? Samantalang yung iba hindi nmn ganun ang treatment? Dahil ba Vlogger? Dahil ba may issue? I know hindi naman yung dinemand ng vlogger but dapat PAL should stick to its policy. Kung may nakitang mag ina na nahihirapan assist according to company's rules.

May mga airlines na pwedeng irequest ang special handling mismo online at may iba naman na mismong irerequest mo via customer service or at the airport during departure. What PAL did was surely part of their empowerment guidelines due to bad experience ng customer nila.

When you have a connecting flight, the airlines is responsible to transfer all your checked in luggages to your connecting airlines. Sad to say, the staff in the airport are interconnected with their fraudulent behavior, from the airline staffs to the immigration officers. It is a web of criminal activities. Nakakahiya mang Aminin, ganyan sila sa NAIA , mga buwaya. Many are victims, some would give money para di na mahassle, others keep quiet, at mangilan ngilan ang matapang nai expose ang mga kabulastugan nila. It is true in all government agencies… malaki na Sheldon nila mula sa taxes nang mga mamamayan, gusto pang mag under the table. Mga bwitre in the lowliest form. Dapat ihayag ang pangalan nang babaeng immigration officer with her picture so we can show her face to the whole world!!!

May sabi sabi din na sinasadya nila mag offload ng mga pasahero para sadyang mgrebook ng ticlet, sabi pa nila baka daw partners and immigration at mga ticketing company na mg offload para makabenta ulit ng ticket... Eto po ay narinig kulang at di mismo nangaling saken.. Narinig kulang sa taong diko naman kakilala nung time na nasa airport ako last jan lang. Sa taong ngsalita nito ay parang sigirado sia sa sinasabi nia lalo pa na binangit nia na yung kaibigan nia at ngworl before sa immigration. Anu po masasabi nio. Again po dipo ako ngsabi nito, narinig kulang po sa taong diko kilala. By the Naia 3 naman po ito
