Undertale is a 2015 2D role-playing video game created by American indie developer Toby Fox. The player controls a child named Frisk who has fallen into the Underground: a large, secluded region under the surface of the Earth, separated by a magical barrier.

What i love about this is the fact that Papyrus is crying for a random monster (BF Frogit), i feel like it really fits him as he always wanted to be loved by the monsters as the great Papyrus, when i see the last part i imagine that he says "I am so sorry" even if there was no way he could have known this would happen, i feel like his choice of believing that the human could do better started to torture him when being face to face with a victim of his belief like it's shown in the video. This things are why he stoped believing in the human, not just for his brother but because of everyone they have killed, feeling that, if he stopped the human when he could, the victims of the human in snowdin would be alive, he feels guilt even if it isn't his fault. Or at least i like to thinks it's that way, sounds cool for me.

He wouldn't be alone technically because Alphys and the remaining monsters are still in hiding, but he would have to live knowing that his brother and many if his friends are now gone and he failed to confront the human in time.

I like to believe that this takes place in a timeline where the Human decided to spare Papyrus at the end instead of killing him and now since he has no friends and loved ones... and every now and then he sees the spirits of his fellow monsters who died by the Human... pretty much a reminder that he could not in a way bring peace to those that have fallen... On a side note though I am sad we do not get to see a monster spirit version of GF ;-;

i was thinking abt this but a diff way where papyrus never went to the final corridor to judge the human leaving human to finish the game easily without anyone in his way and sans thinking where did papyrus go (so if this is what u were thinking i like it also nc cover)

Very interesting. I think it's papyrus after human kill sans. He can't believe that human kill everyone. He imagines how scary and painful it was for the monsters. Now papyrus alone with another MONSTER
