I agree with you dude. However, something that I'd like to point out is that this gimmick is extremely hard to book, specially after the match with Cena. Image you have a roster full of "normal" people and all of a sudden you have a monster that can take people to another dimension and can bend reallity as much as he wants, even time traveling. WWE's creative is incopetent and can't book a normal match, let alone a monster like the fiend and specially since this gimmick sometimes (in my opinion) gives too manny powers to the fiend, making the booking of a match a lot harder.

This is exactly what i have been thinking since the Firefly Fun House match, the fact that Adam kinda predicted how the match went before it even happened made me think that MAYBE Bray or someone else who was involved in that "match" had seen that video and took 1 or 2 ideas out of it.

He'll take a pointer or two or three, and then have all of those pitches rejected because Vince wants him to constitute an actual hour of Raw every bloody week for all time.

@@Dr170 To be fair when it comes to Bray i don't think that all of his pitches are rejected because look at what he has done since he debuted The Fiend persona ; The Firefly Fun House Match, the puppets, Alexa Bliss etc... I think that those ideas came from him and i also think that he is one of the few who has the right to have creative freedom over his character to a certain degree. However yeah i agree that he doesn't have to appear every week, in The Fiend persona at least.

The severed head lantern, Alexa in a dream sequence as Sister Abigail, the Swamp fight itself... all of those might not have flown if it weren't for his pitches being brilliant. But, the thing that makes me believe he's landing more pitches than failing them is the Vince puppet saying in the broadcast "This is such good shit!" That particular phrase being said on WWE after scathing interviews about the company were coming out week after week from AEW says it all. Hell, it was said in a burial of their former top guy on the biggest show of the year, in the Main Event of night 2. Bray has a significant amount of sway with the company, that's a fact at this point.

Asuka can easily pull off a badass heel, and Kairi with her personality is an easy likable face. Much like her feud with Baszler it’s David vs Goliath with Baszler as this powerhouse brawler and Kairi as a high flying underdog. Heck throw Heyman in there as Asuka’s manager. I think that would’ve been interesting.

@Doom Guy I agree with you that Cesaro is underrated and need to be given a shot in the spotlight against other great wrestlers (Styles, Bryan as example) and just let them do what they can. I get his promo work is not super strong. But you easily fix that by letting him be himself and not having to stumble through a script he had a hour to memorize. But of course this won't happen. I rather see him go heel in NXT and just be a dominant heel that even wants to destroy other heels. He is a lone wolf who just wants to beat the best. Not even for a title. When given a title shot, he rips the paper and just says something like, I don't need a belt, victory is its own prize, seeing you on your back looking at the lights is better than any amount of gold and silver. Idk could word it better but just make him just a rogue. Randomly saving lower card wrestles, randomly interrupting matches for honestly no reason that we see. It will turn out he only respects other wrestlers that want to win just to win, not for money, fame or titles. Just the pure art of single combat. Man vs man. I hate you but respect you kinda thing. That's my idea. But with your opinion on Ziggypuff. I agree he has the tendency to over sell to hell and back. But he has the ability to have a great match. He needs to tone it down, he's at a 9, needs to dial that Down to 6. But he could become a babyface under dog type. But first he need to go away for awhile. 6 months at minimum. He gets a brutal beating. Like borderline HBO level of gore and violence. We need alot of sympathy, the beating needs to feel uncomfortable, hard to watch. Without that I feel it won't work. So Dolphin is away for a while. And he comes back. And decides to go after his attackers. But problem is his attackers are both champs. He needs to earn his spot. Not be given a number one contender match right out the gate. So it takes months of Ziggler winning. And almost at that chance to be number one contender and loses. Idk if screwy finishes will help get heat or just a heartbreaking lose by just dolph making a mistake. Anyways. So like 3 times he gets so close and fails. He starts to wonder if he really is just midcarder for life. But someone comes and gives him that will to move on. Needs to be a legend. Someone else who was told he can't do it. Mick foley. And dolph gets his shot and wins. Setting up his title shot at a big ppv. Summerslam I think. Rules get changed last minute to a hardcore match. And also I haven't figured out the two guys who beat him. They need to be real big and brutal and clearly major stars. Anyways he gets beat up, bloody but still has his moments. He goes for moves that do big damage to opponent but also to him. But he somehow stays in it. Because he remember something foley told him, gives him the drive to pull off his finishing sequence and end it with a crazy DDT from off something and looks awesome. He wins. Holds IC belt up bloody but victorious. Crowd going crazy. But just as he breathes to starts to head back stage. The other man comes and destroys him. Injuring him massively. So this will make him go away again. Injured. Needs months of recovery. So clearly he vacates the belt. This sets up his enemy winning the world title. I know I said he had it before but forget that. He wins it by evil means and yet again injures his opponent severely. So much so wwe suspends him and Vince mcmahon does a promo condemning him. Telling him he is going to far. He already has wins in the bag but decides to keep destroying people to the point they are injure in some way. Vince plays a massive good guy here. Really selling fans on how evil this guy is. A loose cannon and no one can control. Triple H steps in to see if he can tame the beast. (This would never happen but be awesome if Hunter let it) Triple H gets just squashed. I mean squashed. Brock lesnar vs a 9 year old in a barefisted brawl type squash. This happens at the rumble. So main even is the rumble. Match is playing out. Our eveil guy isn't in it but looks forward to see who he gets to literally kill at mania. This is where our lovely blonde angel comes back. Looking better than ever. He has toned down his apparel. It's not flashy. Just a plain set of tights and boots. His hair is dirty blonde kurt cobain style not that beach boy blonde bullshit. He looks like a man who has been sent on a mission. Laser focus. He comes out at #30and crowd pops huge. He comes in and just elimates 2-3 people right out the gate. It's down to 3, dolph goes on the attack bit the two decide to gang up cause they actually a little afraid of him right now. And they just work him. Dolph gives it his all the fight back but it's two vs one. That in real life is always bad odds. He bout to get elimates and does some tricky shit to duck or dodge one to send him flying out and now one on one. They battle til dolph hits a clean good super kick, something be hasn't done since his first injury where he was hurt the first time. And he ends it with that while on the apron. Dolph gets his chance to get vengeance. The champion can't believe it. So dolph gets his big underdog story conclusion at main event of mania. And first time ever. It's a hell in a cell. This has to be Hbk vs taker In the first or second hell in a cell match ever to type of brutal times 10. A massive bump need to happen to be the finish. Like a scary bump. But if you wanna make history and be remembered you gotta take chances and it's mania main even hell in a cell, if there was ever a time for this career shortening bump it's now. And dolph will triumph, out smarting his opponents one weakness, when he has the match won, he still wants more and to hurt them. And he really wanted to end dolphs career. So when he could have finished it he didn't and dolph expected this and used it against him. Idk how I can't book what happens in ring but it will get figured out. But yeah. That's how I book him to reach the top. And to bring it back around. His selling is key to this. Cause yes he does oversell. But he does have the ability to sell a good beating. Hbk could do it, Curt henning as well. They were good sellers but had tendency to over do it sometimes, but im the big moments they delivered the right amount. I think dolph could given proper instruction and a revamp of his whole character head to toe. Anyways that's just my opinion. Have a good one

The big thing I always got out of the 'Bryan vs. The Fiend' was that, the Fiend isn't ONLY about 'corrupting' but also 'healing' as well, since he's got, you know, the whole 'HURT' and 'HEAL' gloves on. I think his entire 'Gimmick' is to change people from one side of the 'alignment' to the other (i.e Heel to Face or vice versa)

Oddly enough The Fiend did expose Goldberg, in the eyes of the fan. When Goldberg came back in 2016 he was welcomed back openly. Then he came back to fight The Undertaker in a terrible match and people began to sour on him but had he left it there people would eventually have let it go. When Goldberg beat The Fiend it was like when Sheamus beat Bryan at Mania 28. The loser ultimately benefited. Goldberg will never ever live down being the guy who wrongly squashed the Fiend. Consider that absolutely NO ONE wanted Goldberg to beat Drew at the Rumble. Ya I know it’s head canon and The Fiend should have won.

I've heard this argument b4 but I think that the fiend lore wise makes sense to have the title because the fiend is out there to right the wrongs of cult leader bray, who is someone that never had a proper title reign.

Everything should focus on the fiend because he as a character is strong enough. Also he should be given a brock lesnar type schedule. Bray wyatt himself can wrestle all he wants but the fiend should be restricted. The big 4, maybe replacing survivor series with he'll in a cell, should be where the fiend appears. You can have long term booking to make these matches feel special, you can have bray wrestle as firefly for all the other ppvs.
