It`s not just that she is a great singer and banjo/guitar player. But it`s her interpretation of the old time songs that sets her apart.

I still think that John Cohen's banjo should travel with Nora for the next 70 or so years. The display case at the Library of Congress can wait.

Just so everyone is tracking, John Cohen (whose banjo she is playing) is also the guy who the Grateful Dead named the song "Uncle John's Band" after.

Excellent history, thank you bmangoz! There are some killer New Lost City Ramblers shows at Wolfgang's including this one from the Ash Grove in '63: www.wolfgangs.com/music/the-new-lost-city-ramblers/audio/20053611-9695.html?tid=4850913

It's so easy to deeply love this sweet intelligent amazing incredible young lady. From 6 years old, to this second, this prodigy girl has been so focused on learning the bango and these songs which has taken some of these never before recorded songs, that's been passed down and through the woods, and she's bringing the authentic depth of these songs to all of us here in the 2022's. These never heard songs, are deep history, and this child prodigy Nora Brown, adds deeply sincere treasures of her own and we can "feel" these songs due to Nora and her passion. THANK YOU NORA BROWN FOR BEING THE SWEET TREASURE and SHARING YOUR COUNTLESS BLESSINGS🙏🌻🎶🌲✨️🎶

I so love Nora's playing and singing so. My dear friend Shlomo Pestcoe was her music teacher from age 6 and he's always been so proud of her! RIP Shlomo.

Just started following you Nora! That second number sounded East Indian. You have amazing talent and have studied. It’s obvious. I’m 69 and you are taking me back to the early 70’s vibe of the music I love.

The only thing better then a banjo concert in an empty cheese cave would be a banjo concert in a cave with lots of cheese. What can I say? I love banjo strumming and cheese. That doesn't make me a bad person, don't judge me!
