Pat Benatar was my first concert in Catch a Rising Star, Seattle. I paid a whole 2.30 American money. In all my 65 years, I have never seen a better singer, or Spider Giraldo, a Better lead guitar. It was in November of 78. That concert was Indelible on my Mind to this day. If you get a chance go see them. Amen

I saw a video, Neil and the drummer are best friends and it was the one time Pat thought they would come to blows. Because the drummer couldn't figure out what the beat was, so Neil would play the riff first and have the drummer follow in....sheer genius.

This song is always my go to when life gets hard. I would give anything to live in the 80's just one more time. Our generation was the last to do so many awesome things and the first to have to get used to a world that changed into what it is now. Take me back to when the music rocked, the styles were awesome and so were the movies. I would gladly leave behind this world of hate, political division and the modern day technology. Nothing will ever again have the feel of the 80's.

well jackie, like tom petty sayz. you can look back but dont stare. i bought this casette a few months before getting married. me being a rock bassist, when i heard all fired up, i honestly had second thoughts. i was trapped in vaser michigan , no money. now divorced and living in phoenix. wasted 30 years. so i go and play this song all the time. to understand today and really miss the 80s, go read ted kaczynski manifesto. good luck and go forward

We saw her last Saturday in Bethlehem Pa, just her vocals and Neil's acoustic. Neil Giraldo is the most underrated guitarist in in rock. She still hit all her notes, she did every hit in the original key. she was given an amazing gift ad still uses it like a champ. Neil stated that Pete Townshend was one of his idols. as is he mine. love these 2

One of Pat's best songs, and she has had a lot of them. She has a great voice and sings with emotion. For me, her first album is still my favorite. "In the Heat of the Night", "If You Think You Know How to Love Me", "Heartbreaker", "We Live for Love", She put her heart and soul into that album.

The late Glenn Miller looked for the perfect sound & found it after an accident in a recording studio....Pat & Neil have that perfect sound which,like Millers,cannot be replaced..

I remember when this song came out back in the spring of 1988. This was Benatar's, ' Comeback ', as she had been off the radar for a few years (I think it was because she took time off to raise her kid). And I believe this was her last charted single...

About 12 years ago...I got to see Pat and Neil live at a outdoor concert in the park....Pat would've been in her mid 50's back then...she and Neil opened with this song and just SLAYED it...she was awesome, and Neil should be more recognized as an amazing guitar player! What a show!! it was the highlight of the summer for me. Pat...you're fuckin awesome!

Pat's last top 40 hit after an awesome 8 & 1/2 year run. She is a legend. Now 71 she hasn't slowed down. Still married to the same guy for almost 42 years now (a rarity in show biz)

She's slowed down. Saw her a couple of times in the past few years, and her sets are 40-45 minutes long these days. Surprising, I saw the Doobie Brothers last year, and they played for two and a half hours and sounded great. I'm still trying to figure out how that's even possible.

This song has done something to me. It's unlocked some deep emotion within me that i had sealed away. I'm unsure where it came from, but i can feel it very deeply. It's nearly brought me to tears after listening to it just once. I recently moved out into a new state, and i'm already loving the lack of smothering with rules. I think that has to do with it. Just went to watch the F1 1988 season review, wich has this banger song as it’s opener...listening to this with those vintage F1 footage from all the greats like Senna, Prost, Mansell, Pique... It was just beautiful and I immediately fell in love with it...although having a solid knowledge in music and even playing guitar myself I’ve never heard of it before...I’m really happy to have found this little treasure So: always keep your ears and mind open people! There’s still so much joy to be found out there ✌🏻
