@@Thetwoofus02 perhaps, but he could let the guy talk. seemed letterman was tight for time, so could have just asked one or two questions and let pat say his piece. he didn't NEED keep cutting him off to complete his list of arbitrary questions. however, letterman definitely got better at listening as he got older. recently, letterman even says he regrets not letting some folk talk, such as harvey pekar. he even said he didn't GET at the time what pekar had to say, so just blabbed over and didn't appreciate him. i love the guy, but in the early days letterman was kinda a jerk.

wow.. Morita was the head Computer Manager for the Polaris rocket project.. HOLY SHIT..... wtf?... I never knew this. I dont think this is on his wiki page... that is amazing "But Morita, then with a wife and a baby, needed a regular job. He became a data processor with the Department of Motor Vehicles and other state agencies, graduating to a graveyard shift job at Aerojet-General, in the days when the computers required an air conditioner the size of a warehouse. In due time he was a department head at another aerospace firm, handling the liaison between the engineers and the programmers who were mapping out lunar ellipses for Polaris and Titan missile projects." Andrew P I remember when KK came out I was a teenager. I grew up watching happy days. Then KK came out. People were blown away by his acting. As you can tell he’s American through and through (no accent) and he way he forced his voice lower and slowed down his speech and movements. Wow. Such a great actor. He was funny in stand up as well. But my dad I saw KK when it first came out and we were blown away with Arnold becoming Miyagi. All the way home I remember us talking about how great he was.

The producers initially wanted Toshiro Mifune from the legendary Japanese movie Seven Samurai (1954) as Mr. Miyagi, but Mr. Mifune refused. I wonder how Mr. Miyagi would look like if Toshiro Mifune was Mr. Miyagi. Must've been so imposing because he was taller & broader compared to Pat Morita. Kreese would've looked less intimidating.

Thomas Its funny. Jimmy Fallon gets a shit ton of hate for constantly interrupting guests and for having an obnoxious fake laugh. Letterman did the EXACT same shit but hardly anyone says anything because Letterman is revered and it’s hip to bag on Jimmy Fallon. (Btw, Im not saying Fallon is a good host. Letterman was far superior. I just find it ironic that one gets a pass and the other gets roasted.)

The irony, is Pat never actually knew martial arts in real life! I'd say, he made a pretty damn good living, as an actor, being less than a White belt- shows you don't need to be a great martial artist, to be an actor, and you don't need to be an actor, to be a excellent martial artist, of course, Bruce Lee was the exception.
