Seeing Joey in this state brings tears to my eyes and watching her innocent baby indy growing up without a mother aches. Cancer is a monster. Joey and Rotel.what a love story. A year after My husband lost his battle with Brain cancer at age 49. Joey lost her battle with cancer. It was like I was living our story threw them all over again it brought so much healing to me. I remember sitting in my little living room and sobbing over the song Joey sang about life after me your love story has became so meaningful to me. Until we met our loved ones again

I was blessed to get to see Joey and Rory perform in Westcliff , Colorado… My son and I were able to get our picture taken with them… I will never forget that time… still have the picture… In life, we don’t know why things happen…. Years later my friend Pat died of cancer , same as Joey . I took a journey with her. We where Thelma and Louise. I made almost every therapy and surgery, spent time with her to end. The last time I saw her awake , she was eating a maple bar. I watch her video of her last birthday and her knowing it was the last. Truly inspiring…. So touched.

Amazing to take pain in life's journey and bring out the Love of God's Journey for you and Joey and your daughter's. Music you lived a life of love , in a love walk. Proverbs 3-5,6. Beauty in motion. So inspiring. At 16 I remember asking myself, what stories am I going to have. 50 years later " Boy ! do I have Whoppers. Five children, 7 Grandchildren, and a Husband I loved for 51 years. When I saw the boy with the eyes in the 🌞 Sun. And the brown eye girl. Though Love, pain, and forgiveness, God and Family first. Jesus is our freedom of life. It's in all these memories that make us complete. Frighters for our Lord Love in life. Blessings being passed on to comfort others as God Comforts us. Thank you for sharing . ❤️

God left you Indy the most precious part of her life. Joey was an inspiration to many people who also had that awful disease cancer. She was brave and always faced bad news with a strong faith in Jesus. Her story has affected many. Little Indy will always have her Mom in her heart. Joey always ♥ little Indy.

My mom died at 38 after major surgery! My youngest brother was 1 1/2 years old when she passed. She stop nursing him before . She new if something happen we could handle the situation. She died to weeks later. She also prepared us for the what if.

I actually lived through so much of this. With no camera's, all I have are my memories, I wouldn't want anybody to live through the things I actually did live through. And without fail, it was my Faith that brought me through, and although things didn't always happen the way I prayed about it. But I know it's in GOD'S plan. I'm really upset that these People have made a mockery of GOD. I was hoping this wasn't true what certain people have done.

My mom would take care of them when he had a gig at the Courthouse Cafe and the Blue Bird Cafe ! He is truly a man of God . He has suffered more than most people could endure . Money is worthless. Hope. Right. Well, that's easy for him to say, isn't it.

There are some special stones he arrenged on the second floor of his house . He must have already met her , or God told him to do that.

Only God will be with us forever. He is eternal and omnipresent. God never leaves us. People are enormeous blessings in our lives but they are not all-powerful and eternal. We humans are like flowers that flourish and then die. Our first love should be God and our trust should always be in Him and not in people and worldly things. We need to be rooted in God to be able to weather the storms of life. Read Matthew 7: 24-25. This dependence in God is what I see has enabled Rory to keep going in spite of tragedy. I think it is terrible what happened to Joey. It is hard for me to understand it. I can get suspiscious thinking she must have failed God somewhere. When people sin they keep it quiet, nobody goes around publishing their shameful.mistakes. I know it is not nice to think what I think but it happens. I cannot understand why her world came crashing down without her doing something wrong to cause it. She was sweet, beautiful, smart, talented, but nobody is.perfect. We have to be very careful with the people we hang out with and not be too open minded with those who live in rebellion to God's morals and ethics. I just think she was too open minded and in spite of her faith in God, she allowed bad company into her life, with the excuse of being merciful and kind. This.possible bad influence maybe made her sin somewhere.and bring a curse. I am sorry if these ideas I have are offensive, but I just cannot understand a tragedy like hers happening for no real cause. I just think she might have done something wrong privately that brought her disease. I know I can be very wrong because I am not God and I don't now everything. But I am just being honest. Being open minded is very dangerous because it opens the door to sin and the devil to destroy us.

God did NOT bring these two lost people together. Rory has a wife, the mother of his first set of kids, his 2 oldest daughters, the homosexual and the atheist. Just because you've gotten a divorce does not mean that person is not your spouse. Divorce is a sin. Jesus said very clearly, "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.” (Mark 10:11-12) So no this was not a marriage, this was ADULTERY. And they made matters even worse by having a child out of wedlock, in adultery. Joey was never for Rory and that is why God allowed it to end. When we choose sin, we destroy our own lives and make our own lives very difficult needlessly. Now Rory is a single parent again. Rory should follow Jesus and stop jumping in bed with women when he already has a wife. Rory if you are reading this try reconciling with your wife. Your real one.
