Shot in 6 weeks, travelling over 7500km from Santiago to Punta Arenas we captured roughly 100.000 still frames that combine into this timelapse video.

Yo soy de argentina, de santa fe y viajo todos los años de vacaciones a la Patagonia, siempre a Bariloche, y es bonita realmente, veo que vienen muchos turistas, portugueses, estadounidenses, uruguayos. Etc....... Si vienen de visita por favor cuiden la, la Patagonia es una de las zonas más vírgenes de la tierra. Hay que protegerla. Hay que proteger la Patagonia Argentina 🇦🇷 Y la Chilena 🇨🇱 🇦🇷❤️🇨🇱

@@Sebastian-hd4rt De que hablan? Si de todas las imagenes que muestran, mas de la mitad de los lugares reconocibles son argentinos. Monte Fitz Roy, Lanin, el chalten, PN los glaciares y el glaciar perito moreno. Luego es reconocible Torres del paine del lado chileno.

I almost cry. When you first look at the nature you realize how wild and peaceful it is, Patagonia doesn't belong to Argentina or Chile, not even to all of us, it belongs to planet Earth. The ending at 3:20 was perfect. It shows we're only a spinning sphere around the massive Milky Way.

In the Patagonia, there's a small town called Choele Choel. In the warmer months you'll see hundreds of parrots fly overhead as they travel to a nearby island to feed in the morning. And during the rains, if the river swells, you'll see the town taken over by toads. So many beauties hidden in a seemingly desolate desert.

MaGicCaR100 y sí, no es necesario agredir. Pero digo que la Patagonia chilena es única porque es más salvaje, indómita. Estuve por Santa Cruz y Chubut, por las carreteras de la pampa puedes llegar "fácilmente" es algunos lugares bien lindos, algo impensado por el lado Chileno, es otra cosa llegar a los campos de hielo Norte y Sur mediante fiordos, senderos, etc

This was breathtaking! In all honesty, it’s even mentally therapeutic and stimulating. It’d be great to show videos like this in hospital wings where patients are recovering from surgery, or in people who are suffering from a mental illness, or people going through chemotherapy. I know it cranked my brain into high gear and elated my moods, and I suffer from anxiety and depression.

Joy and gratitude for being able to live and feel. 3. Slight nostalgia, contemplative one, without any regret or longing. 4. Eagerness for action, strangely, preferably a group activity. There are numerous ways to describe emotions, and we're used to describe them with a single word, but since this is a full-scale research you're working on, I imagine you required something of similar description. I hope it wasn't too abstractive for a scientific research :D

You probably didn't know that but pictures usually look better once downscaled. That's what nVidia's DSR does for you, for example. Conversely, upscaling worsens picture quality significantly, unless there is some GAN processing involved.

It sure is beautifull but on the other hand not "cosy" and that, I would miss....... We live in a little town in the Netherlands with our border collie "Lana" near to a little river and we have also a little garden with subtropical plants (which goes indoors in wintertime).

Amigo, por favor investiga, me sorprende que no sepas que la Patagonia también pertenece a Chile habiendo tanta información, por favor no te quedes en la ignorancia. edit: además que el nombre no tiene nada que ver, el nombre de Argentina viene de “Argentum” si no me equivoco y eso es del latín.

lautyy Los son aonikenk si existían en ese tiempo en Chile solo que en el siglo XX su población fue disminuyendo hasta desaparecer. Y si sé lo del Río de la Plata pero a lo que me refiero es que el nombre no viene de algún idioma de Argentina como el guaraní o el tehuelche, viene del latín. Como un plus no quiero discutir solo quiero decir que la Patagonia pertenece a ambos países ¿por qué es tan complicado entender/aceptar eso?

Yo soy de rg 140k de personas, el tema es que las ciudades estan muy alejadas unas de otra (las mas grandes) despues te cruzas pueblitos nomas, pero si, hay poca gente, pero mejor, no estamos sobrepoblados de villas como el norte

Even with a 400mbit connection it is not really running smooth for me... Network activity fluctuates between 0-~180mbit/s, but CPU is 100% busy on all 12 (logical) cores :D

Awesome view, is amazing the sharpness that you may get by using 8K, I'm an old photographer living in Punta Arenas, been there I don't know how many times but every journey is different, the fact of being there surrounded by those beauties is what really counts, more or less definition is of no importance what does matter is experiencing the cold wind, the sky above your head, the fauna and all the guys that are near you sleeping under the same sky..that's wonderful besides, winter is the best season because of the strong chilly wind the chance to observe the horns in a sunny day is higher and the four seasons that you experience in one day..God bless the Patagonia either Argentinian or Chilean only life is important..Tks for this gift to the eyes.

720p was never good as far as I'm concerned. Prior to 720 "HD" becoming a thing it used to be possible to get 1600x1200 monitors even on laptops. After 720 came on the scene and everything shifted to 16:9 it became almost impossible to find anything better than 1366x768 on laptops (and difficult to find better than t hat on standalone mointors) for almost a decade.

This is an incredible video for a lot of reasons. I first saw this video a few years ago, and since then, I use it to "benchmark" new phone screens and monitors. It has such a wide range of color and shading that it is a perfect video for comparing displays.

The dry climate is the Argentinian side, the green one is the chilean side. The andes mountains create this phenomenon where there's like a jungle in southern chile and a desert in southern Argentina, and on the other hand the northern of Chile is a desert while northern Argentina is all green!

Simply breathtaking.... Well done! perfectly synced with the music, very complex DOFs executed near perfect. I watch 8K but on 4K monitor to test my new system, and stream was perfect. I watch on a 4K 43 in monitor, so this was truly amazing and immersive. Loved it, thank you for the hard work, and well done!!!!

I was lucky enough to visit Patagonia in 2018,did the Torres del Paine W circuit and also did some more hiking in El charlton.It really is the most beautiful region with stunning landscapes.This video brings back special memories of my time there
