Timelapse videos are made of stills played back at 30 fps. I mostly used a class6 SD Card. But its right that current SD Cards (also the hardware inside the camera which is responsible for Card-writing) can't handle the data rates of 1080p raw video. I have a 6D and tried it. At least not 4K raw video. So you DEFINITELY need 1000x CF Cards to record 1080p raw or MJPG 4K (only possible with the 1DC). By the way I shot this video when nobody was thinking about shooting raw video with Canon DSLRs.

It's great to see such good quality in a relatively early film, although your newer ones are even better! How do you do the watermark which is blended into the lighter areas of the video? Anyone know?

Thanks! This the video that became my company name 😅 watermark is a mixture of opacity and blend mode called "overlay" or "soft light"

i knew all the talk about how SD cards couldnt handle the recording in this quality was bullshit LOL =D cant wait to get my 6d because like your T2i its SD and this right here PROVES you dont need a CF carded camera like the MK3!
