Patagonia's 2022/23 Pow Slayer jacket overview. Again this is not a "review" as I haven't had this out in its natural habitat much. I will have a review some time in a few months. Weight 19.3 oz (Size Large)

You were the first outdoor/ camping youtuber I ever watched lol. I remember 7 years ago, you and your adventure camping videos with your dog opened up my eyes to backpacking and the outdoor world. Since then, I have camped so much and tried so many different things. Currently on a trip in Denver with my wife and just snowboarded for the first time. If I remember correctly, there were some videos of you camping at lakes in the rockies and ever since then I wanted to visit Colorado. Keep making vids man! Just had to share!

Emilio, I love hearing this!! The main reason I got into making videos was to share the beautiful outdoors and hope people can appreciate it as much as I do. I hope your trip was epic and keeping getting out there! Andy

I just got the exact same coat and it's the best coat I ever had. You can never go back.

3 year's ago I bought a VOLCOM 3 ply GORE-TEX SHELL/JACKET on sale. The price was $525.00 and I paid $400.00.So my question is, what does Panagonea have to offer that Volcom does not,a $750.00 price tag.Long as the person stays warm and dry that's all that matters and I've been doing it for $400.00.The GORE-TEX that's been with my VOLCOM SHELL seems to be doing a excellent job,no complaints so why should I go out and pay $750.00 ? Oh, I just bought a VOLCOM 2 ply GORE-TEX SHELL for $170.00 , I prefer 2 ply over 3 ply because it holds heat in alot better.

Fantastic question my friend! So with Patagonia you are basically buying a jacket for life. They will fix/repair and if it’s not repairable they will replace it at no cost. It’s called their “Iron Clad Warranty”. I’ve done this with multiple jackets. For example I had a previous nano air jacket that I purchased in 2017, hiked the PCT with it (2,650 miles) and then this winter the zipper broke. I brought the jacket into a Patagonia store and they said they could not fix the jacket so they gave me a brand new version. I didn’t even have my receipt from 2017. Also on top of this amazing iron clad warranty they use recycled materials and pay their workers a living wage. Finally they an amazing company for profit of course but looking out for our earth. You should do a little bit of research on the company. Quite amazing. I hope this sheds some light my friend. Obviously the best thing we can do that’s environmentally friendly is not even buy stuff. But we all know that’s tough. - Andy

I have this jacket and the DWR has become just awful :( really a shame after trying with nikwash and Granger's to restore it and nothing helped

Well that’s sad to hear. You should contact Patagonia. They have a solid warranty on all their gear.
