Art goes off in quest of a new perspective on the summit. Along the way, he passes through an old forest, fords an icy river, passes beneath a glacier, and crosses one of the world's greatest ice caps.

Beautiful. Wow nature's absolutely beautiful. Wilderness untamed and untouched is wondrously gorgeous, and breathtakingly magnificent, naturally mysterious. Few people know they view from up there. That's why I believe the above statement true, in my mind at least.

Why are you using such a minute format for such grandiose images? At the very least you should be using something like a 6x8 Graflex with color roll film. The camera is slightly bigger than what you are carrying now, not much heavier, and yet the negatives are much larger, (about 4 times as large), and because roll film has a much thinner emulsion base (than 35mm film), there is less diffusion on the taking surface = sharper and more saturated images. With roll film the lenses tend to still be fairly small and light weight, though longer telephotos like you seem to use require more bellows length = you would need to make a long adapter to extend the front element to the film plain. Also, your tripod choice is not good. Aluminum tripods are hollow in the middle, and when the wind blows they resonate on the inside. Uncle Ansel wrote a lot about this. Wood is a much better alternative--especially when using something as light as the camera you have in the video. I use my wooden tripods (Ries and Otto) as a walking stick. It is heavy, but it works. Good video, beautiful place, but I don't think your photographic gear nowhere near matches what you are attempting to do.
