This is now my most viewed video 🤘 btw peeps, don’t get mad ‘cause I don’t “know” Sepultura or Eloy. You should see some of the comments shaming me for that lol! I do know them both, I just never really listened to Sepultura that much as a teen and have since then moved on to other styles. I make these videos for entertainment, so don’t expect these to be 100% “real” either! Thx for the views and comments!!!

He's very creative. In some interviews, the band members always say that after he joined the band, they needed to reinvent themselves to accompany him hahaha and that was very good, it took the band to a new level.

Eloy is a monster! You should check out the videos from the current and former Angra drummers as well. Aquiles Priester is another very technical and hard player and Bruno Valverde is a young insane drummer who plays metal on a traditional grip (he recorded drums for the Kiko Loureiro solo album). I suggest: Aquiles Priester - Spread your fire Bruno Valverde - Upper levels

I don't really like this kind of music, but when i see Eloy hammering the drums, it just makes me feel good. Your reaction as a drummer makes it even better. This kid knows how to destroy drumsets, and you like it...so i like it! Great Reaction!

2 years ago at the Zeytinli Rock Festival in Turkey, Eloy's drum technician gave me Paiste Rude 19 Thin crash which Eloy used on stage!! I'm so happy and I feel lucky! I send greetings to everyone from Turkey..

Great commentary as always. Sepultura with the Cavalera brothers was a teen favorite of mine. Looks like I'll have to revisit modern Sepultura.

Yeah I only found out after making this vid that Eloy wasn’t the original drummer. He seemed young and Sepultura have been around forever! Guess I’ll have to check out stuff with their original drummer!

It is certain that he will be able to reach the levels of the greatest Masters that we have had in the Drums until today ... Ps.... Guys, Just remembering those who will read this comment. ENG - Sup guys! Awsome reaction! I don't know if Eloy has seen this video yet, but I think he would be happy to see someone analyzing his work so enthusiastically and with such excitement. Even if Pat didn't know about him until then, it doesn't make sense to talk shit about Pat just because of that. It's normal, every day we discover new songs and bands. Besides, can you imagine the feeling of discovering a band like Sepultura at this point? Better yet, imagine what it must feel like to meet Eloy's work now, afer so many years. It must be something really cool, and Pat spoke very well of our Brazilian drummer (yeah I'm Brazilian too), so I think we always have to value these guys who somehow promote our metal scene and our musicians, who are often very undervalued in Brazil, unfortunately. Great content, success to Pat's channel and success to Eloy! PTBR - E aí galera BR! TMJ! Pessoal, na moral, não sei se o Eloy já viu este vídeo, mas acho que ele ficaria felizão de ver alguém analisando o trabalho dele de forma tão entusiástica e com tamanha empolgação. pat mentions the guy from the mars volta. Eloy won the same modern drummer competition as that guy back in 2005 if I'm not mistaken.

Your reaction is basically how I react every time I watch his videos. I love this man's style. I love how the syncopation in the first part of the chorus with that 16th note makes the 2nd part hit harder when he goes straight in.

One of the best drummer in the world. He mixes Brazilian drums influences with a genuine and creative lines playsd with a lot of precision and power. Eloy Casagrande is a monster, a beast and Sepultura is back to the top with Quadra album 🤘🏼🤘🏼🚀

Dude, Eloy is a monster. That's for sure. But you gotta check original Sepultura drummer Igor Cavalera, during the mid 90's shows. It is incredible.
