no mate there not but there training is classed as SF in the US they would be but in britian you need do SF selection to be SF thats why when paras and royal marines join SFSG they get extra training but they are still classed as paras and royal marines

They use the c8 diemenco sf rifle for starters which would suggest the gov see them as pretty much special forces. srr & sfsg are special forces as their name suggests pathfinders would be tier 2 imo going by the kit they use and the condraband clothes. You certainly never see RM in contraband clothes and using sf weapons!
