I've read up about Chimeric Antigen Receptor -T cell therapy. It's not a panacea for all, but it offers hope where there previously wasn't anything more that could be done. When it does work it is like a miracle, and we will get better at it. Respect to Emily Hunt, for what she has been through during her childhood years.

It is for relapsed leukemia, it's called CAR-T therapy. Doesn't always work though.

What a beautiful young woman Emily has become, after all, that she has had to endure to hold on to her life. My only wish is that all children survive cancer. Keep on thriving Emily x

Bravo, a very happy ending!!! However, many go through the horrors of treatment, and then end up dying!!! They may have a few extra years of "life", but it is very poor quality. Sometimes doctors peddle false hope in order to make money. Personally, I would never have treatment, especially chemotherapy.
