If you ever do this again I would advise you to frame out all your 1x2 first, then put your post in(uprights) then use u-channel as clips for your 2x2 for the chair rail. You started backwards really, but you did it so good job!

Omg, it looks nice, i cant believe you didnt use a chop-saw to cut the metal. I do this everyday, custom building lanis. You may run into an issue not having your 2x2 on the door jamb running straight into the wall. Cheers!

I wish I have your skill to do this by myself because I don't have the budget to pay professional to do it...there is a LOT of mosquitoes here at sunset, and neighbors' chickens/ducks/geese always dump their shits all over my front porch...very annoying cleaning those shit everyday!!! 😬 Nice backyard you have there, so green and fresh! And you are so cool to play in the rain with your "sidekick" LOL. I often do that with my beloved nephew, too, if there weren't much thunders in the rain. 👍😂

You can go etheir lowes or home depot and everything is in one section. I forgot what is it called. For beams i used 2x3 and the supporters on the side is 1x2. I used 3inches concrete screws.

any idea how to bend the 1 inch piece to go around the top of a curved entryway?
@nathanglyder39927 жыл бұрын
You could frame the entrance to make it have a flat top with two pieces coming off at an angle, and use trim/paint after installing the net to hide the 1". Make it more geometric
@chantelbaker58757 жыл бұрын
they make a half by that will bend to any diameter
