Patras (or Πάτρα in Greek 2024) is the third largest city of Greece after Athens and Thessalonica. Patras is the Capital of Western Greece and the Peloponnese. It is located at the Western most point of the Peloponnese peninsula and connected to mainland Greece by the Rio-Antirio bridge which is the largest cable steel bridge in the world. The Peloponnese is also known as Morèas (Μωρέας) or Moriàs (Μωριάς). Patras has a population of 220,000.
