The expression on her sweet face - especially as she sings Amen - is as if she is remembering being an angel, being part of a heavenly host of angels. They lent her to us, for a little while.

A beautiful song by a beautiful girl, both inside and out, in honor of Paris and France. My Dad was shot down over France during World War II, and he and his crew were able to evade by the sacrifices of many beautiful and heroic people that helped him along the way. Patricia Janeckova is an Angel whose magnificent and pure rendition of this prayer touches one's heart. Thank you. "Mike" Kelly

@@asshoggspjot Patricia is still studying at the Music Academy. It's great she does not seek an immediate success. Once she graduates, the most prestigious opera houses will compete in the offers for her, and with the first role she will become world famous.

Vielmehr ging es mir einzig darum, Ihr, wie Sie selbst eingeräumt haben, "oberflächliches" Urteil über Rossinis Petite messe solennelle ("a little too long") ein wenig zurechtzurücken und um sonst gar nichts.

This is the best version of Ave Maria I’ve heard (not counting Schubert’s). I love how Patricia hits the notes in the middle, not sliding up. And, what a marvellous, beautiful, unique voice she has!

Certainly agree with that but sadly her vibrato is dire - far far far too slow. It is more of a warble - like Callas at her end of life.

this was impressive & knowing pj, she only did one take of the song; not technically perfect but charged with emotion because patricia dedicated this to the people who had died at the bataclan in france a week or so earlier; i believe it was entitled 'song for paris'! patricia was still only 17 when she recorded this.

I have been somewhat critical of Patricia in respect of her performances of Once upon a time in the West, and stand by those historical remarks, as I have yet to hear her sing OUATITW in 2020. I clicked on this Ave Maria clip having just discovered Helena Fischer sing it on KZfaq. I was curious to see how Patricia compared. A completely different tune to the more traditional version uniquely owned by Celine, but, WOW, this is STUNNING by Patricia, and I must not forget her age. Listening to this, I feel Patricia has progressed enormously. Her troublesome breathing technique of her younger days has been perfected, and she also now has the physical strength and lung capacity to see out the required long notes which she failed with in the past. This version is just beautiful and I feel that Patricia has truly arrived at her peak level, which we shall all enjoy, going forward. I cannot wait for her to perform OUATITW from 2020 onward. Thank you Patricia, a wonderful start to the day.

Hello Patricia and Amira. Jeg har hørt jer begge de sidste par måneder og sikke nogle fantastisk smukke stemmer. I er blevet sammenlignet med Maria Callas og Anna Netrebko og det er en 100% fair sammenligning. Jeg glæder mig meget til fremtiden med så skønne stemmer. Hope it´s ok When I write på Danish.
