I love the Laura Mercier Real Flawless foundation so much, I like that it looks so natural. I use it with Nars Soft matte concealer to cover up my hyperpigmentation and the Too Faced Born this way concealer underneath my eyes. I set my face with Mac mineralize skinfinish. This combination of products makes my skin look flawless, I've gotten so many compliments. My skin has never looked better with makeup and I have superdry skin.

Hi :) I’ve just brought the LM foundation two days ago and I find it makes my skin look really dry. If I may pls ask, are you using a lot or is less is more ? Any advice pls I’m struggling, shade match is spot on and I don’t want to return it xx

@MissT708 I have really dry skin too. I don't use a lot of product because I just want it to even out my skin tone. I use a little bit of concealer to cover up the areas that need coverage. I usually prefer using brushes but this one looks so much better if you apply with a damp sponge. It doesn't enhance as much skin texture and it just melts into the skin. Make sure that you prep your skin before by using good moisturizing skincare products.

Thank you! I, too love the Terracotta Teint foundation from Guerlain as well as the Fenty Beauty stick. I would like to try the Too Faced Healthy Glow Skin Tint as well as the newly-formulated Dior Backstage. But honestly, I don't have anything better than Dior Forever Skin Glow and Forever Matte. I ADORE them and keep returning. I will also seek out your number 1 - I'm intrigued.

Fenty Beauty Blur + Smooth Tint Stick is definitely a top 3 for me this year. Today, I just received the REM Beauty one, which I will test this weekend, but Fenty is beautiful. I feel I will go through it really quickly. I would love to try the Makeup Forever Powder Foundation soon.

I like skin tints and wanted to try the Too Faced Healthy glow, but because the spf ingrediants were not approved in the EU it was never allowed to be released in the UK.

I actually bought the Valentino foundation based off your recommendation & we're shade twins with similar skin concerns which helps! I also love Haus Labs & the Tom Ford new foundation (pricey but worth it) ❤...honestly I'd splash out on it it's like the Valentino but some how better (slightly higher coverage I'd say & longer staying power).

Coucou Patty et un immense merci pour tes recommandations très détaillées pour toutes les peaux. Cette année a été pour moi un vrai casse-tête avec ma peau qui a fait beaucoup de mutations et j’ai effectivement acheté beaucoup trop de gammes pour trouver ce qui conviendrait à ma peau mixte et très déshydratée depuis ma ménopause, alors que ma peau était grasse depuis toujours. J’ai toute la gamme Yummy de DM et effectivement, sans le baume au préalable, il n’est pas optimisé. Ce que j’ai récemment trouvé de mieux pour le teint, c’est la gamme Care and glow de Lancôme et j’ai également pris le concealer pour être raccord niveau teint pour les matins pressés. Effectivement, au moins, il ne déshydrate pas mes zones de sécheresse (contour de bouche, joues…), mais je suis obligée de faire un raccord sur le nez avec le Bare we me de Nyx, pour que le teint tienne longtemps, d’autant plus que comme toi, j’ai un rhume qui traîne depuis des semaines. Je vais donc me laisser tenter par celui que tu suggères et je vais écouter tes recommandations pour ton Valentino favori, tellement tu en es satisfaite depuis que tu l’as découvert. Prends bien soin de toi et de gros bisous de France 😘❤️💐

Patty can I ask why you wouldnt colour correct , to help some of these lighter foundations that work for you in every other way except covering your redness . I would think that colour correcting would eliminate a 2nd layer of foundation 🤷🏼‍♀️, so really no extra steps . Just curious is all . Thanks for another great vid . Hi from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺

i thought i was crazy bc i didn’t like the DM Yummy skin but everyone else loves it! no matter what i do, it pills up and takes the product off the more i blend… i really want to love it but i’ve tried with a brush, beauty blender and with fingers, with stippling in, with blending in, with and without skincare and primer 🤦🏼‍♀️ I keep thinking i’m doing it wrong!

I love the MAC foundation and I have normal to oily skin. It lasts about 8 hours or so with a matte primer and powder before applying my foundation. I'm sorry it didn't work for you.

I just found you and myself being a " foundation whore" this was perfect, on top of that every foundation I have on this list you were my exact shade . I've been dying to try the Fenty stick but could not seem to find a good shade, I will get the same one as you. I had tried the guerlhain Terra Cotta because of all the rage reviews in the beginning of the year, I returned it, now that it's making all the year end bests I'm getting the urge to try again. I did get the same shade as you. My son's reliably get me Sephora gift cards so.. I'm making a list 😅 happy holidays!

Much like a lipgloss won’t perform like a lipstick, a skin tint will not perform like a foundation. Maybe skin tint should be ranked differently like a tinted moisturiser. I dunno. I just don’t think you can be mad about a skin tint not being medium coverage.

Im in the market for a new foundation so this was super helpful for me!! I’m currently using the Anastasia foundation and the IT cosmetics CC glow but I find them both pretty ‘meh’ I’ll have to stop by the dept store and swatch the Valentino and Guerlain! ❤
