'Sigma males' don't care if AP was directed by a women. The message they take from AP is that it is blissful to be ignorant of others' opinions of oneself, and to produce a perfect version of yourself is admirable. Not sexism, that's just wrong.

@@afallenaspect1160dunno how you could actually take this away from this film? Bateman literally says "I want to fit in", he's obsessed with what others think of him, he cannot stand that people don't remember his name or mix him up with other people The whole thing is a satire on superficial yuppies in a culture of conspicuous consumption. It's literally the exact opposite of not caring what other people think.
