Being an okc fan, Beverley has grown on me with his feuds with westbrook and other players, for his defense and intensity he brings. Ive always admired the strong defenders. He doesnt bring super star status to the table, but his intensity is so important to a team based system such as the clippers. Doc knew this to be an important tool, hence the knew contract. Well done bro

Thanks for posting this video. He is my inspiration to play hard on defense. I'm 22 years old and I'm just 5'-2" that's why I'm always the smallest one on the court. I love guarding the best player on the court even they're half foot taller than me just like Beverley does.

Yeah, and you make it your primary mission to make sure they don’t score on you. You wear them out, make them dread having to deal with you when they have the ball. That’s how you make your presence known on defense. I’m 5’6 I would know

@@jlking0098 he's 6'1-6'2 he is small compared to average point guard height of 6'3. Especially when he was defending sg's in his rocket days because harden doesnt want to play d, most sg are about 6'3-6'7. Especially when he had to defend kd in the playoff, a 7 foot offensive monster

@@nalliug23 gary is an athletic guard, his way of d is different with bev's. Because of his athletic give he can focus on stealing the ball and yeet to the other side of the floor. Bev is small and less athletic so he focussed on effort. Their way of getting insine someone's head is also different, payton with his trashtalk and beverly with being beverly

Tony Allen 2.0! I love his competitive nature. If he had another perimeter defender with the same intensity. Look out NBA. Pippen and Jordan on the perimeter were a nightmare for a lot of teams. It slows the other teams flow or tempo while forcing someone else to have to bring the ball and and run the offense.
