Patrick Chan skates like Rudolf Nureyev danced. Huge, gorgeous jumps and mad energy, paired with exquisite grace and passion. He's not just a great athlete, he's just as much an artist.

It's moments like these that remind me what makes Patrick such a superior skater. Fingers crossed for the quads this Olympic season

You can really feel the struggle in the dark music as Patrick's footwork seems to be conducting the music. Forget the quads, this program should win in artistic interpretation alone. Just compare it the the programs from the European power jumpers. Variation in the spins would make this an even more untouchable program. Awesome.

This is so much better than the Bold commentary. Those women on Bold do not stop talking! Love Kurt and Tracy, too.

Thank you for posting. Sorry, I should have wrote that below, as well. Also spectacular skate by Patrick. I really like this routine. Hope he can repeat for Worlds.

I like how Kurt sounds genuinely shocked by the score at the end. "Two eight-five????"

There are two elapses in the clip. Can they be fixed? sorry, I know I am nick picking. Thank you so much for posting non-Bold version. I also enjoy Kurt's and Tracy's commentary. Can't wait to see their recap of FS :)

He needs to get Christy Krall to coach him again. Maybe its me, but he skated consistently under her tutelage.

but she never had his triple axel consistent.

@lutz84 I know you were not trying to be offensive but in Canada the term Asian describes people and the term "Oriental" is used to describe rugs and carpets not people. It's similar to calling a Native Canadian an "Indian" or an Inuit an "Eskimo". To use the updated term indicated by the people themselves is a sign of respect as they feel the names given to them by early white Europeans are not what they prefer to call themselves. I think you made a great observation :)

Do you have the CBC version of Patrick's 2011 Worlds SP/FS and if so can you pls upload them. Thanks. I've been searching for them everywhere and I'm surprised no one has uploaded them as yet. This performance was out this world.

this is just a question: are you allowed to do the exact same program as you did the previous season? Because this was also his 2009-2010 program right? (i know there are some minor differences like the quad)

Ya...but can he go top-shelf with a backhand half-clapper from the opposite wing?? No...didn't think so.

actually nvm his footwork i think has gotten MUCH more complicated.

He was foolish to ditch Krall and Nichol. What is it with skaters ditching Lori in Olympic season...the ones with strong chances...there is another Asian I'm thinking of

Dont Really understand, it seems people only likes jumpers, =P This song needs passion, he needs to "feel" the song, too bad he's not Stephane Lambiel...
