@@leepadua8987 Sadly, I think that will probably never happen. Leonard's said that he will probably never work with her again. One of his biggest beefs was her going to Shep Pettibone for remixing his songs. And it's a real shame; her best work was with him. I think I tuned out on Madonna after "I'm Breathless" and "Vogue." Almost every song on "Erotica" had the same "Vogue" beat that had been recycled for the "Like a Prayer" and "Express Yourself" remixes. And I haven't been impressed by much since, especially not her new stuff.

Just the whole vibe between the two. If I hear the song, I think about the movie. If I watch the movie, the song is completely interwoven throughout, maybe only one or two other songs in the movie are both part of a scene, like heard from a radio. I grew up about an hour from where the true story happened. I think it was filmed in Kentucky but the rural aspect was spot on. Both the song and the movie are nostalgic. I remember the whole prison escape thing back in the 2000s.

Yea, but you saw his descent into it. Deniro as an actor wanted to bear witness to that without judging Bickle or his outcome so he could play it as if unexpected. DeNiro never tries to be smarter than his characters. He could have played the dad. It was the money and script revisions that was it.

Being the magnanimous person I was, I told the "kid" that he could and I agreed to go to his house to hear him play. When I arrived, he asked me what I wanted him to do. Just "Do your thing" (how hip was THAT? Well, Pat began with some Mozart, went right into boogie woogie followed up by every genre of music one could imagine. I realized that he was WAY, WAY above my pay scale. I walked away saying to myself... This "kid" is a wizard. He was a wizard then at all of MAYBE fifteen.
