For a series that touch on such difficult material context as child and alcohol/drug abuse Benedict as always went above and beyond with his portrayal of Patrick Melrose and I loved this series because of it. I too am a Sherlock fan I.e I have a Benediction to Benedict love everything he does ❤

Just finished reading the fifth book. I had watched the show several times, but I must admit the book is worth remembering line by line. Unique. And the thing is, I always picture Benedict and I cry and laugh and I'm such an emotional mess. Very few books have affected me so deeply. Probably "Last exit to Brooklyn" is one step ahead, but this performance is absolute brilliance. It amazes me that so few people talk about the show and the book.
