*"CHEAP"* -- I've seen a salesperson fired, right in front of me, for using the word "cheap" to mean "affordable". "Cheap" refers to quality, while "affordable" refers to price. Do you sell "cheap" (i.e. low quality) goods or services? No? Oh, you mean some are more *affordable* than others? Ah! Okay. 🙄

@@resist1581 Cardone is too pushy and conceited if you ask me. Grant's style gives people anxiety. Hahahaha 🤣 And you don't have to be too rich or too busy to help people out right? I mean if you genuinely started from the bottom, helping guys at the bottom would be natural to you.

Thanks Patrick for sharing such a valuable content to us.. I'm working as SaaS product seller, I'd seen your cold mailer videos too.. It was pretty beautiful, the way you covered up with real time scenarios on what works and what not.. Is there a way to predict prospect challenges? What sources that you can recommend?

Depends on who your target audience in. But most of the time, you can use Google to read up on what the largest players in your industry have challenges with. So for example, you can google "top challenges in tech industry" and that can get you started. You would do more searches to dive deeper into a problem that your product or service can solve.

Patrick Hi! Great Videos, appreciate it 😃💪🏻 I will start on the 1th October as business developer and my job is to cold call all day long with the leads from the marketing department. They told me i need to call at least 50 calls per day. I try to watch all your videos. It would be helpful, if you could make a „playlist“ like a guide 1., 2., 3., etc.. :) Thump up!

Hi Patrick, Nice video. Your videos are really nice and informative. Also I would like to ask you is that that how important are confidence and pleasant personality in sales?
@patrickdang
@patrickdang 4 жыл бұрын
Having confidence in yourself is huge when it comes to succeeding in yourself. I like in the video, if you don't feel confident with yourself, how can you expect others to be confident in buying from you.

Hi Patrick, it is a nice video, I have a question though - I have also read and heard at few places, that one should not use the word "Help" - for e.g. how can I help you to address your challenge - what are your views on the same ? This is particularly in context of Outsourcing business when we try to sell to Products and Platform companies.
@patrickdang
@patrickdang 4 жыл бұрын
Hey Dharmaj, from my perspective, using the word "help" works extremely well and I can see how using this word for an outsourcing business makes sense. There are a lot of different opinions and perspectives out there that might contradict each other. But from experience, even if opinions contradict, both can still work depending on how you incorporate what you learn into your personal sales style. Hope that clears things up.

the big brain move is when you switch to deliberately using these after youve already learned enough about your client to realize that what youre selling is not a good fit and/or they are just not worth your time and energy. the 8th word would be "unfortunately"

Ok but then I have a question: what is your slight edge over the thousands of other online "sales gurus" who are saying the exact same thing? Where is your own unique proposition that would make people listen to you and come back for more? I've watched 2 of your videos and I'm pretty sure I'm not coming back for more. Anything you say can be found in the books and tapes from decades ago... there are millions of people out there who believe they can teach selling by simply repeating what others have said so many times before. That makes you a cheap copy... did you set out to be a cheap copy? Probably not.

@@patrickdang I'm not targeting you specifically, this is my general take on 99% of all online sales pros. If you put content online then people like me say what I say, that's part of it. I just think that one would find it more exciting to run with the big dogs rather than dishing out the age-old ABC-s to novices. It seems nearsighted to focus on the fundamentals that millions of people are already preaching online, there's no real future in it because it is a very competitive market where you have no edge... none. But if you hone your craft and became good enough to teach something to a room full of millionnaires who have done this for a decade or two, you will go down as one of the greats of our time... unless you become corrupted and turn into a Dan Lok - type hack. Everyone seems to be in such a hurry to teach others that they don't spend time actually learning the craft themselves first. I maintain that a great deal of dignity ans respect comes from not that you ARE famous but what you did to become famous. I'm sure you mean well and that there are people who will find you helpful. Don't take my jabs for anything more than just ramblings of a bored guy trying to find meaning in things he encounters.
