Desharnais at 2m AAV is an absolute gem of a deal! Was very disappointed to see Big Z testing FA, but Allvin is killing it in this off season. Stoked for next season!

Ill say this. I didnt like the team using Hronek as a stay at home d to cover for Hughes. I wonder if Deharnais can play with Hughes like Schenn did and allow Hronek to go to the 2nd pairing pushing Myers to the 3rd. I think this makes the d more versatile and offensively capable after the 1st pairing.

Desharnais was pretty bad overall in the playoffs I heard and didn't move the puck very well. Now lets hope our dmen coaches can help him progress his game and turn him around.

Debrusk is a great signing seems like a tocchet type player that can finish which makes more room for petey. With the system and coaching the D will be ok but looking at their analytics the pk should be near best in the league.
