Rode it my first time last weekend loved it. Couldn't decide which one I liked more between this one and the mamba... The first drop on the mamba kinda sells it to me this one all throughout the ride is awesome.

Love the color scheme of this ride. One of the best out there, IMO, up there with Nemesis and Banshee.

Patriot doesn't even compare with Banshee or Nemesis. It's an okay invert, don't get me wrong, but if you think Patriot is a better invert than Montu or Alpengeist, then you're insane.

Dude, I meant color-scheme wise when I said that it compares to Banshee or Nemesis, not experience wise. Those rides are in a league of their own.

I enjoy Patriot's zero-g roll, too. It gently lifts you out of your seat while also gently tossing you to the side. It's like butter, especially in the back row. I haven't ridden in front in about ten years, so I should probably try it again.

It still perplexes me as to why CGA renamed Vortex "Patriot" when they converted it to a Floorless coaster, despite this coaster already having that name. Oh well, I suppose the GP won't care.

I Rode the Patriot for the first time it was a fun ride you can't feel it when you go down through the course and the only part that makes you dizzy towards the end is the spiral before returning to the station

One time I was riding the Patriot on a cloudy, slightly thunderstormy day and they had to stop the ride while we were in it because of lightning. Long story short we sat about 30 feet above the ground for like 20 minutes until they finally finished the loop. Thankfully we weren't inverted

the problem isn't you working there it's that you don't know what the restraints are called which are over the shoulder restraints not lap bars

A majority of people that are hired there are btw 15-25. JS. I worked there for 4 years and rarely met anyone over the age of 30.

OrangeOmega It always has(or at least last season it did) i went on it last year and it stopped here too, the reason, they had two different Trains running so they had to let people get off and on the other train

It's the block system doing its job. Only one train is allowed between any two checkpoints defined by the ride designer because of safety reasons. If you heard of the Smiler accident, it is the failure of the block system that allowed one train to rear end another, causing serious injuries.

I was about to ride this with my brother and sister and my neighbor but when we got there the park was closing so we couldn’t get on it and now I am happy 😃 hopefully I will fined the cougar and do it for real well have a nice day bye 👋
