I hate to compare and much love to the All 4 Adventure guys but Patriot have done the D-Max so much better! Definitely a great choice of vehicle, 4wd Action have been thrashing one of these vehicles for years and cant break it. Absolutely amazing give away!! Patriot! turned out awesome ! i too prefer to use head torches with standard batteries. i got an older black diamond torch that runs on AAA's, works awesome for work and camping, when it goes flat you just replace the batteries and it keeps going

Cool build. Good luck to who ever wins that. I thought the winch negative cable on the battery was supposed to be wired on the shunt side of the terminal not straight onto the battery terminal, due to the dmax having a "smart alternator"?
