Большое спасибо за чудесный фильм. Северные народы -- труженики!!! Детки чудесные, как и их родители. Очень жаль, что мама оставила университет, но она обрела семью. По детям сразу можно понять, что родители имеют образование. Пусть у них сложится жизнь намного лучше, чем у родителей.

They have to move camp every 2 to 3 days in the summer, yhat mist be very hard to do, only in winter do they stay at a set place for a long time.

all to feed the deer. In order to keep the grass they don't let the deer eat the grass off completely, so they move to a new place where the grass has grown up and is higher.

They must move frequently for the reindeer to find food and to not totally deplete any one area. This has been their way of life for hundreds, thousands of years. To remain in one area for two weeks could mean starvation of the reindeer, sickly herd members, females unable to give birth to healthy calves, depletion of the herd. It’s a delicate balance between the people and the animals finding food and remaining healthy.
