Everything about this song is perfect. Her voice just soars and emotes! She's got perfect pitch and control, and that little break she does. The arrangement is equally good and easy to overlook. The chord changes are simple but they move the song forward. The piano is just enough, and exquisite! We lost her way too young.

This song came out in 1961. Going wayyy back. I was somewhere between baby and toddler. Willie Nelson wrote it. Patsy’s voice was truly one of the greatest of all time.

This is one of the best country voices around. Patsy had so many great hits such as "She's Got You", "Walkin' After Midnight", "Sweet Dreams", "So Wrong", "Leavin' on Your Mind", "I Fall To Pieces" "San Antonio Rose", "Blue Moon Of Kentucky", "Half As Much", "He Called Me Baby", "Faded Love" etc. She was only 31 when she died in a plane crash in 1963. In 1985 Jessica Lange starred in the movie about Patsy's life called "Sweet Dreams". "Home Free" does a great cover of "Crazy".

This song, written by Willie Nelson and sung by Patsy Cline, holds the distinction of being the single most popular of all time in jukeboxes. That means that more people put their dimes and quarters in jukeboxes to hear this song than any other song in history. Considering "Crazy" came out in 1961 and there were a whole lot more years where jukeboxes were ubiquitous in bars and family-type restaurants that's a pretty good testimonial to its enduring popularity.

Patsy sang with her emotions & felt very song. You can hear the cry in her voice. Two songs where she really is crying "Sweet dreams" & the one that gets me the most. "Faded Love" Heard she cried the whole time she was recording this song. By the end of the song, she is tearing your heart out.

You should checkout Leann Rimes, Blue. It was written for Patsy but she died before being able to record it. 40 years later, the author heard Leann singing the national anthem and knew Leann had to sing it. She was 15 and took the song to #1! She sound amazingly like Patsy…

Willie Nelson was only 17 when he wrote this for another artist but patsy's manager discovered the originally intended artist had turned it down and asked willie if h2 could do a slight rewrite on it and let him take it to patsy and see if he could persuade her to record it. And as the expression goes the rest is history ❤

Written by a young Willie Nelson, back around 1960. He is out on tour for his 90th birthday!!! Patsy Cline is wearing a head dress thing because she had an injury in a recent car accident here. They are playing the actual studio record over the real soundtrack of this video. They called her a country singer....but she was a world class could sing anything singer. We lost her to a plane crash, way too early, , that's what is really sad, not the song.

The words need to disturb the audience's soul. If it's a sad song, I want to make you cry and if it's a happy song, I want you to be happy beyond happy! I am really enjoying your channel! Hreat job!

Willie originally titled the song "Stupid" and as a struggling songwriter at the time tried to sell the lyrics to this song and several others to country musician Larry Butler for $10 each. But Butler refused to take advantage of Willie and instead gave Willie a loan.

She had a bad car accident that left scaring in the months before this TV Show. She was reluctant to do it because she thought she looked too bad. The head gear and the make-up covered it up, but you can see some scaring in her face that a few months earlier had not been there. No car accident could do anything to that voice. Top 4-5 all-time women's voice. Song written by Willie Nelson
