Leaf mould is an organic fertilizer and soil conditioner. It is a well-decayed mixture of leaves, grass softwood, lawn mowing and any other plant material. Unlike regular compost which is a product of bacterial decomposition, Leaf mould is produced primarily by the fungal breakdown of leaves. It contains humus which promotes the plant growth, improves soil texture and increases its moisture retention capacity. It helps in the assimilation of other plant nutrients.
Leaf mold results from letting leaves sit and decompose over time. It is dark brown to black and has a pleasant earthy aroma and a crumbly texture, much like compost.
Leaf mold is a great soil amendment. It is essentially a soil conditioner that increases the water retention of soils. Leaf mold also improves soil structure and provides a fantastic habitat for soil life, including earthworms and beneficial bacteria.

यदि जैविक खाद बहुत अधिक गीली है, तो आपको इसे दो या तीन दिनों के लिए धूप में फैलाना होगा ताकि यह उपयोग योग्य हो सके। लेकिन इसे कभी भी 100 प्रतिशत न सुखाएं। यह सलाह दी जाती है कि आपकी खाद 70 प्रतिशत तक ही सूखनी चाहिए। इसका मतलब है कि बेहतर परिणाम के लिए 25-30 प्रतिशत नमी होना जरूरी है।

Yes, Mitti ke matke main bhi banaa sakte hain. Balki Mitti ke matke main to or bhi achchha banega, lekin matke main neeche ki taraf do theen chhed (hole) jarur bana le.

Leaf Mould compost can be prepared with single tree leaves. But it's result is not so good as multi trees leaves. For quick result, please mix some garden soil in your leaves and keep them wet.

Thanks for comment. Leaf mold is an organic fertilizer. Leaf mold is produced primarily by the fungal breakdown of leaves. The leaves are decomposed by fungi. Earthworms are not produced in leaf mold compost. Please feel free for any other information. Keep watching and happy gardening.........

Thanks for your suggestion. Actually at that time, the pit compost was not ready and it was the proper time to make leaf compost because the leaves of the plants were falling. So I could not show the result of pit compost. Next time I will take care. I always welcome the suggestions. Please Keep watching and give your suggestions/comments on my other videos.

आपल्या व्हिडिओ मध्ये जे आपण केवळ वाळल्या पानांचा उल्लेख केला आहे तो योग्य नाही उलट हिरव्या पानांचे चांगलं काय तयार होऊ शकते

हरी पत्तियों का उपयोग करके भी पत्ती खाद बनाई जा सकती है लेकिन सूखी और हरी दोनों पत्तियों की रासायनिक प्रतिक्रिया अलग-अलग होती है। तो कृपया आप हरी और सूखी पत्तियों की अलग-अलग पत्ती खाद बनाएं।

Very good question. Aap gur ki jagah Chinni dal to sakte hain lelin chinni ka ashar kam hota hain aur decomposing der main hota hain. Chinni se achchhi to shakkar hain Kayoki chinni daalne se bacteria kam bante hain.

आपकी जिज्ञासा के लिए धन्यवाद। अगर आपकी मिट्टी जो आपने पत्तियों में मिलाई है वह अच्छी और बैक्टिरिया से भरपूर है तो उसे खोलने या मिलाने की कोई जरूरत नहीं है। लेकिन अगर आप इसे और तेजी से बनाना चाहते हैं तो आप इसे एक महीने के बाद खोल सकते हैं और पत्तियों और मिट्टी को फिर से व्यवस्थित करने के बाद थोड़ा गुड़ का पानी मिला सकते हैं। लेकिन याद रखें, यह प्रक्रिया के दौरान 100% सूखना नहीं चाहिए।
