WHAT IS PATTACHITRA PAINTING?
PATTACHITRA is a traditional painting of Odisha, India. These paintings are based on Hindu mythology and specially inspired by Jagannath , vaishnava , Radha Krishna. All colours used in the paintings are natural and paintings are made fully old traditional way.
PATTHACHITRA IS ONE OF THE FAMOUS INDIAN FOLK ART.

It's from Odisha only, not Bengal. Bengal has some tribal type art. Pattachitra is one of the most unique art form of Odisha in the whole world.

yes as you said Raghurajpur is the only heritage village for odisha PAttachitra but there is bengal pattachitra also ... The Bengal Patachitra refers to the painting of West Bengal. It is a traditional and mythological heritage of West Bengal. The Bengal Patachitra is divided into some different aspects like Durga Pat, Chalchitra, Tribal Patachitra, Medinipur Patachitra, and Kalighat Patachitra.... plz google

@@snistala5809 even Andhra , Rajasthan etc has their own from of patachitra. Odisha's Raghurajapur is unique and that's why vey famous and here it shows Odisha's one.

No no not everything we found on Google is correct.....all the traditional art of different states have their own name..... about Bengal's it's called patuachitra originally
