Pattaya I think a new city but cebu when Spanish conquistadors landed cebu on 1521 and now become one of the oldest city in the Philippines.

Phattaya is pretty a long white coastline mainly for tourism. But Cebu is for tourism and business a mixed of everything and a very rich diverse history and people. A big metroplitan with a lot of potential. In tourism business ship building and manufacturing BPOs

Pattaya is a world-class tourist city. The size of its economy is as large as the capitals of some countries. Because it is a special administrative region If you want to compare, you have to compare with bigger cities. I'm not saying that Cebu isn't big or beautiful. you're right its a mismatch to compare a harbour city like Cebu the second biggest metro in the philippines to a tourist city without any real economy like Pattaya. Try Angeles city this is comparable to Pattaya. although Angeles will win in birthrate, Pampanga province has 4% birthrate not sure abour Pattaya does it reach above 1% or below 1% like Korea ?

Well if you look at Metro Cebu as a whole, it does not only offer bustling metropolis but some beaches too. Lapu Lapu City is part of Metro Cebu which has a lot of beaches and multinational hotel chains such as Sheraton, Marco Polo, Marriot etc. Basically Cebu City is comparable to Pattaya.

@@darkboard5556 Metro Cebu has hotels its in Lapu-Lapu, soon pullman resorts the biggest in the world and Palm Oasis like in Dubai and Cancun, Lapu-Lapu alone has more resorts than whole of Phuket thanks to growing local population and high birthrate. I was referring to the vidoe its a mismatch to compare a big city like Cebu with a poor and declining population thai city.

The channel still says that the name is Skyline Asean. They focus on watching the skyline of which city, big or small, they don't compare. He intended to look at the skyline, not a comparison box for the size of the economy. It's not the History Channel. Just drama. I just come to look at the building and listen to fun songs about who's bigger and who's richer. History I don't care about. Just watch the clip of the building.🤣🤣🤣

i am from Indonesia and i been to the 2nd tier cities of SEA and like Surabaya , Cebu City has a vibe of a massive Metro City and the skycrapers are closed to Each other and very dense. while Pattaya is a beautiful tourist City. but when it comes to Skyline Cebu City🇵🇭 win for me.

the comparison is not fair because Pattaya City is a resort area with skyrise bldgs and beach so naturally it's so attractive to our eyes while Cebu City only we can see the skyrise bldgs and there's no beach coz its a huge harbor area....anyway what is the basis of your comparison modern skyrise bldgs if that's the case then Cebu has many to show...

not comparable to size, Cebu has 3million+, you can go to Lapu-Lapu and get entertainmanet, there are more 5 star hotels there than the whole of Phuket, Lapu-Lapu has a population of 600,000+ world class airport

Metro cebu is almost twice bigger than metro manila. But cebu island is more beautiful than phuket in terms of quality of water , beaches and even tbeir blue waterfall. How canyou compare oatfaya is just a small city compared to cebu city or metro cebu. Metro cebu is becoming bigger due to service economy together with their export trading and tourism.

this is Insulting for Cebuanos. Pattaya is a prostitute city with no real economy other than tourism. Cebu is a metropolitan harbour city built on trade/exports. It should be Pattaya vs Boracay or Pattaya vs Angeles.

Metro Cebu has 3 million population soon to be 5 million in by 2045. growth rate p lang sa lapu-lapu 4-6%. This uplaoader probabaly got confused with whale sharks and waterfalls sa probinsay yan ng Cebu di sa cebu city, wala nang beach sa cebu. Cebu City has no beaches as its occupied by the piers 1-6. Cebu is a Harbour City like Hong Kong or Singapore !!

Whether you like your city or what you admire, just do it. But don't say that other cities are prostitute cities. It's ugly. Prostitutes are everywhere in the world. Here, Cebu also has them. And I'll tell you about the prostitutes in Pattaya. Most of them are not from the area or Thai people.
