Helpful tip (hopefully lol): I've noticed that if you clarify your hair before trying a new product system, you don't experience flaking. I think that when you do a regular wash, there is still some mild residue coating your strands and this may interfere with the performance of a new product line. Clearly I know that this may not always be the case but if you clarify before trying something new, you'll get the most "true to form result" from that product(s). 😊

I remember watching you two beautiful women when my hair was soooooooooooo heat damaged. I was discouraged…now years later my hair is so curly and healthy!!! Thank you two for being the first to show me how to care for my natural hair. These products worked very well in my hair I was very impressed. Love the styling cream and gel it is a little pricey but it’s a lot of product.

Love Love Love!!! You both are hair goals. I am in the process of getting my hair back healthy b/c it was badly head damaged and I had to cut a lot of it off!!! Anyway love you guys! Great review, and I agree with both of you. The strong hold gel and style cream are excellent. The rest of the stylers can go in the trash. The pick she has is AWESOME and BIG!! I love it!

I love, love, love, the curl cream!!! I did my hair on a Sunday and didn't feel like I needed to redo it until Friday, but even then it wasn't that bad. It still had tons of definition. I am going to buy her oil and see if that makes a difference as the style gets older.

I use the medium conditioner and the leave-in conditioner. I am interested in the Styling Cream. Sounds like the cream worked for u on a W&G. I only do twist outs, (gel does not work for my hair). It will be nice to have option of using for W&G. How does the Styling cream compare to CRN Almond Jai Twisting butter or Melanin Style Cream?

Hello ladies, I know I am very very late, but I’ve decided to try the Pattern beauty line. Thanks for your review. I don’t have the same hair type as you but I enjoy watching you because you focus on healthy hair, and that is what I’m after too. I’m a wash-n-go girl so I’m going to try both the curl gel and the strong hold gel to see which works best for me. I have the leave in too. The curl gel was for my high porosity a good refresher. Along with the refresher spray the moisture was retained well beyond the next day which most products will not provide.

I combined the strong hold gel with Uncle Funky’s midnite train leave-in and it was a moisturized hold. Not dry at all.

The leave in + strong hold gel is bomb! I really liked that combo. Tried styling cream + strong hold gel. Styling cream was way too heavy.

I've been wanting to try a hair product that contains sea moss, so I'll definitely be purchasing the strong hold gel for slicking my hair back into a ponytail. I also definitely want to try the combo that Kelsey used. I prefer for all of my products to have slip, including my stylers. I'm especially intrigued most by the velvet texture of that styling cream. I don't wash and go at all, so I'll be using the pair for braidouts and twisouts.

I would like to think that we have similar hair but my hair didn’t turn out this bomb, I did like 5 videos lol...on my whole debacle with these stylers, lol. I gotta try it a different way, a revisit is definitely needed, I’m trying to recover first. I need to use the strong hold gel instead of the curl gel. This is soooooo helpful, girls!😍😍 interesting that you used the hydrating mist first. 🤔

I 💛 the curl gel (the one in the tube that she said is slimy lotion) and as odd as it seems I love the pick. It's better quality than a normal pick. Phase 1 stuff i loved the conditioner and leave in. Didnt care for the refresher or styling cream

Hi Kelsey and Kendra! Love y’all and y’all’s honesty with hair products. Believe me. I be taking notes. Lol. Also, I think the two of you should come out with your own hair products bc y’all seem to have a lot of knowledge when it comes to hair products for us curly girls, especially those with thick curly hair like myself.
