for us long time fans, her turning herself into this is almost a shock at her age. But one thing I can say about Ms Patti is, the same extra gear she has in her voice, is the same extra gear she has with her business smarts. Now, think about how smart a move it is, for her to do a tele-podcast, where Cardi B comes to her house to cook/eat. So, that means that Cardi's fans are going to shift over to check Patti out (which will generate dollars)..and give a hand to Cardi, for doing the same exact thing. This is why I LOVE my black and brown sistas. Because ya'll have survival skills that are off the charts. If Patti's food has grossed in excess of 200 milllion, that makes her a mogul...and she's almost 80 years old.

I met Ms Patti back in 2011 When I worked at the PNC Arena in Raleigh North Carolina. She was so nice and sweet to me. I was cleaning her suite and she told me to stop, and made some of her people do it. She invited me to eat with her, of course she had her own food, I was so nervous I declined but I wish I was the brave soul I am today and stayed, because she’s an amazing person…

Ms. Tamaron Hall told the truth about Ms. Patti Labelle. My brother, my daughter and I met her in 2001 or 2002 in Atlanta, Georgia at a her cookbook signing and she walked up to me as though she has been knowing me my whole life. We talked and she told us not to go anywhere. She actually spoke to everyone in the line (we weren’t in the line, we were inside with the promoters). Such a beautiful sole. I love Ms. Patti❤

While Patti has always been richly Blest with GOD'S grace/gifts, I know that it has not always been an easy path for Ms. Labelle to have traveled!!!! when I saw that video of the kid who made everybody laugh, while he was eating Patti's pie and singing her songs at the same time, I KNEW THEN...Patti would be a MOGUL, before it was all said and done. I sat there watching that kid's video and called my best buddy...both of us fans of Patti LaBelle/LaBelle, as far back as the very early 70s, and I said "this black woman is going to be a player on Wall Street, before the dust clears". And here we are. Y'all just dont know...I remember going to see LaBelle on their 'Nightbirds' tour in early '75...Patti was rockin a kitchen perm with blonde highlights and her nose was twice the size it is now. To say, she has done everything a human being can do to reinvent themselves, is putting it very mildy. She's a QUEEN...period-t.
