Patti's success came later in life (she didn't become a household name until her 40's) she is a testament to working hard and staying consistent. She is as relevant as ever and has a booming food business in the later season of her life. Amazing!

Yes Patti had success in the 70s but she struggled to get htis once going solo. She never sold the records Aretha or Diana sold or had the hits. However; things turned around in 1985 when her two song on the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack were big hits. The hits started rolling in she was 44. The same age Tina Turner was when her big comeback happened. Patti became a superstar and household name later in life. @@BLESSFUL-Bliss

My husband used to make the macaroni and cheese for our family. After he passed away I had to find a good recipe. It was Patti’s and I’ve been making it for years now. It’s the bomb.

I use evaporated skim milk in my Mac and cheese. It gives you the thickness of half and half or cream without the calories.
