This was such a wonderful moment. I love Momma Patti’s nurturing presence & how she is so pure & humble. I had the pleasure of seeing her in concert in Cleveland,Ohio & she perrrrformed! ❤You gotta give her props! And 78 yrs old she’s just as beautiful & gorgeous as ever. I LOVE PATTI LABELLE. I loved LaBelle. Some people who really don't understand SOUL music say she hollors too much but that is PASSION when she sings! Her range is INCREDIBLE!! A VERY SOULFUL AND CLASSY LADY! ❤

LOVED this show!!!! You see how Ms. Patti just keeps building Jennifer up?!!! That generosity of spirit is something else that keeps you younger, as I am 72 3/4 and it IS a BLESSING!!! And Ms. Patti just knows she keeps herself styled and looking fabulous! Jennifer, you deserve all the accolades! I am 76 years old from Trinidad I use to be a drummer with a combo named Birt Bailey and the JETS. The first time i heard Over the Rainbow I fell in love with it and you. The only problem I was I too short short. Thanks for the music that you all gave to the world.

You can't possibly start naming girl groups without starting with The Marvelettes they gave Motown Records their first #1 hit with Please Mr. Postman and have a huge catalog of music and other hits. 702 and Brownstone are also worth mention for the 90s! All these groups are amazing tho can't name them all but The Marvelettes were definitely the music staple for the 60s before The Supremes!

The Marvelettes are unfortunately always disrespected in the Motown story even though they made Motown history for the first time. Their name was even lost to them -- you can find anybody singing under the name Marvelettes these days.

Patti LaBelle is an incredible, world class, once in a lifetime talent. My voice teacher, from Philly, (noted singer and teacher at conservatory) referred to her as that little girl [from Philly] with the incredible pipes. Very, very high praise from him. Thanks for bringing this beautiful woman on your show!
