Her first performances - changed my perspective of the strength and breadth of self-expression. Years later, I Had to take my young son to see her and hopefully meet her one day - we were lucky to be brought backstage after her powerful performance at The Wiltern, where she was sitting silently in a large, soft chair as people quietly stood and greeted one another all around her. She motioned to my son, with a gentle smile, had him sit down by her - she asked him a few questions, and they both quietly smiled. His regard for women grew by leaps and bounds from that moment, on.

I mean the video has been up less than 24 hrs and the subject is a woman who hasn't made an album in a decade and not an album that has hit mainstream in many. So it's actually doing pretty well given these types of videos don't tend to do well for Harper's. Probably 4 hrs or less given when it appears you commented.

I love Patti. I disagree with her politics and her views on climate change because they are linked. I'm old enough and so is she to remember the stories of the coming ice age in the 70s. I you live long enough you will see the cycles. They were predicting the end in the 70's and the climate control people now have seen their predictions come and go for years now. But there are always new young folks ready to believe and to be used by older folks who have an agenda to fulfill. This is sad. I still love Patti though.
