ബേണി സാറിനെ കാണാൻ പറ്റിയിട്ടുണ്ട്, ഉമ്പായിയുടെ ഗസലിൽ ഒരു ഇൻസ്ട്രുമെന്റ് വായിക്കാൻ അദ്ദേഹവും വന്നിരുന്നു, ഇത്രയും ഹിറ്റുകൾ സൃഷ്‌ടിച്ച മ്യൂസിഷ്യൻ ആയിട്ടും വളരെ സിമ്പിൾ ആയി തന്റെ സുഹൃത്ത് നയിക്കുന്ന ഗാനസന്ധ്യയിൽ ഒരു ഇൻസ്ട്രുമെന്റ് play ചെയ്യാൻ അദ്ദേഹം കൂടി എന്നത് അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തി. എല്ലാത്തിനും മീതെ അവരുടെ സംഗീതഭ്രാന്തിനോട് അസൂയയും തോന്നി

സംഗീതം ചെയ്ത എല്ലാ പാട്ടുകളും ഇന്നും നമ്മുടെ എല്ലാം ഫേവററ്റ് ♥ പാടിയവര്‍ക്കെല്ലാം നല്ല അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചു എന്നിട്ടും ആ ഗായകര്‍ പോലും അവരുടെ ഒന്നും ഇന്‍റര്‍വ്യൂകളില്‍ മറ്റു സംഗീത സംവിധായകരെ പുകഴ്ത്തുന്നതിനിടയ്ക്ക് ഇവരെ 2 പേരെയും മറക്കും...

ചെയ്ത പാട്ടുകളിൽ 90% വും സൂപ്പർ ഹിറ്റുകൾ. വേറൊരു സംഗീത സംവിധായകർക്കും അവകാശപ്പെടാൻ കഴിയില്ല ഇവരുടെ ഈ നേട്ടം. പക്ഷെ അർഹിക്കുന്ന അംഗീകാരം ഇവർക്ക് കിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്ന് സംശയം ആണ്.

Berny-Ignatius was accused for plagiarism for at least three of the songs in the film. The song "Ente Manasinoru Naanam" is said to be an adaptation of the popular Hindi classic "Piya Milanko Jaana", sung by Pankaj Mullick. Another song in the film, "Nila Pongal" is accused to be an imitation of a Bengali song, "Sun Mere Bandhu Re". The "Manam Thelinje vanne" song is a copy of the Ilaiyaraaja song "Aasai Athigam" from the Tamil movie "Marupadiyum". Berny-Ignatius were awarded the Kerala State Film Award for Best Music Director despite the allegations, which created a controversy. Veteran music director G. Devarajan returned three of the four state awards he had won claiming that the government was honouring pirates in film music.[8]
