From his build of course one of the best i ever seen but that back posing qnd not keeping his abs flexed and some twiching kind of fucked his placing for the judgesbut still my guy would compete in size with ramy now and with those proportions probably would have won and not even talking about 2019 and mr buble gut wouldn even compete against this in my opinion

Saw this guy at a seminar and he was a sight believe me,I saw all the greats in his era but nobody was his size, everyone goes on about his massive arms but let me tell you his calves where huge as well, absolute beast and looks healthy these days

ivor worrell he couldn’t hold a pose for more than 3 seconds without shaking like a leaf, his transitions were also god awful. But the brief half a second where he did hold a pose correctly he looked absolutely phenomenal (just don’t mention his back...)

Never had the back that was on par with the other top pros. Other than that he was one of the most important impressive physiques on stage. A true giant in his era and still holds by today’s standards.

It's the combined effect of quitting gear, not working out and eating right, and the natural testosterone loss that comes with age, I guess those three things just combined more drastically in his case than anyone else, since, well, he was bigger than almost everyone else

I see it all the time, steroid users stop taking and they loose size and strength. For me , all natural is the way to go. You don’t loose anything. The only way you loose is to stop working out completely or just old. I’m 58, been working out since I was 18 and I’m still at and haven’t had to slow down yet. I can still bench 405. Just saying.

They sorta lose their inate ability to produce testosterone once they stop cos of all the decades of engative feedback on their testis. I have always heard paul didn't really train very hard or seriously. Before i go any further, he is one of my all time favorites. Lets get that straight. What i am leading up to is that if this is true, i can only imagine how many Olympias that he may have won if indeed he took it more serious. True beast.

It wasn't his training that kept him from winning, it was his posing. But from my understanding the asthma also plays a role in that.
