That is real friendship right there. For PG to call Kawai directly and tell him that he is going elsewhere. Not a lot of other players did that when they were leaving. Also for Kawai to tell PG to do what is best for him and for him to get his money is awesome. A lot of players especially in the NFL will hate other players for trying to get their money and do what is best for them.

Surprisingly (or maybe not), there is so many times that the general managers can't even pick the phone and let the player know they have been traded before it hits social media and sports networks. I've heard guys like DeMar, Derrick Rose, and Rasheed Wallace all say they heard they got traded by either seeing it on TV or getting a call from a friend that's not even on the team.

For those that are upset PG didn’t stay are 🤦‍♂️ the pros of going to Sixers outweighs clippers by a thousand miles minimum. If PG stayed, Kawhi will load manage again like always and be unavailable for playoffs and Harden will again be the guy taking the scoring load. PG made the best decision because not only does he give himself a chance to go deeper into playoffs with Sixers but also 62 million reasons to do so as well.

As a Sixers fan, I wasn’t sure about betting all our chips on PG, but I really do think he is a veteran that can provide something Pat Bev and Lowry couldn’t. Plus the other moves we made are going to complement PG, Joel and Maxey. I think the Sixers killed it this off season and everyone I talked to is hype about PG .
