The fact PG feels he is worth that is what's crazy. He literally only had one healthy playoff run, can't beat Dallas for nothing, have far less accolade than Khawhi but wanted 60million more than him. Any organization would have said GTFOH. He only went to phila bc they are desperate to compete with the division. PG's best years are in the past. This is like when PHX gave CP3 all that money

Man the negotiating during the season bit shines a lot of light on what these players actually go through. People act like these players are just robot commodities that do nothing but play basketball, but understanding this human element is what separates great organizations from sub par ones.

@therealmvpee JJ talked about it on his pod awhile back, they have to pay a little bit of tax in basically every state they go to. They do get write-offs and expenses on certain stuff, but they still gotta pay state tax in like 30 different states depending on how much money they made for the games in those states. Sounded like a massive accounting headache 😂

It's in the CBA articles III and XVIII. Meal expenses are $156 per day for the 23-24 season and then are adjusted according to the Consumer Price Index going forward. Moving expenses are detailed in uniform contracts, like teams will generally cover the expense of moving one car (or two cars if the player is married).

Thanks PG....as a 28 year old life long clipper fan, growing up in los Angeles,yes that fandom is different, and that run, it did feel different being a clipper! My son is 7 now , so finally comprehending free agency and playoffs. But it was a blessing in disguise for him to grow up watching 4 different types ball at once. Pg can teach KO sooooo much offensively and especially defensively bc KO can be good defensively he just needs more effort and i think pg know how not to strain ureself so much defensively while still being very effective and if he can teach that to kelly he can be something special
