One of the most underrated and greatest character actors of not only his generation but of all time! I knew that tthe 'holdovers' was going to be fantastic because the director/writer Alexander Payne wrote and directed 'Sideways' ....another masterpiece.

Was walking on an empty, winter street in Toronto years ago. A man walked by me. I stopped him and said 'Paul Giamatti?' He replied 'Yes' We went on to have a 2 minute conversation. He was in town to film 'Shoot Em Up' Very down to earth, humble man. Congrats. You deserve this!

He’s a terrific actor! I’ve loved him ever since Sideways. My husband and I stayed a couple of times in the same motel room as Jack and Miles. We also ate at all the restaurants and stopped by Kalyra Winery. We even stopped in to visit one of the ostrich farms. I’m a big fan too!

YAAAAYYYY! He has always rocked absolutely everything he does and I am so happy for him. I wasn't able to stream the Globes live so I just refreshed Google every 60 seconds the last at least hour to see if he won 😂. Win Win, Love and Mercy and the John Adams miniseries are my favorite performances of his. My daughter loves him and The Holdovers so much she desperately wants him to do a Sleep Story on Calm, lol. I for one think it's a rad idea :) Yay Paul!
