Disappointing to hear how the PDC treated Paul at the end, considering the send off they gave Russ Bray. Glad Paul is still around and giving us that 180.

@@jkrhino6982was totally wrong how they let go of him. At the bare minimum should have been able to sign off on a big tournament like Russ Bray. It’s as if the PDC thought Bray was the main man. Hinks and Noble have been brilliant for many years and love the sport

What a guy!! When I was last there and was struggling, on the Friday morning he sat down with me, gave me some advice, some pointers, and I played some really good stuff on the Friday. At the end of the session he came and congratulated me, said that turning it around was harder to do than playing well consistently! I couldn’t thank him enough. Great guy, long may he continue. 👏👏👏👏

Paul is a great Ref and people don't realize how hard it can be up there...The 127 was not a mistake..it just came out that way.....he still called game. Every Ref and PLAYERS especially have made mistakes. Players of the HIGHEST caliber miscount all the time and it doesn't follow them around unless it happens all the time....and they don't get demoted.....MODUS is lucky to have this man ! Good on ya Paul You are a true legend of the game ! I also want to mention that a player being cheeky in this series and looking at his pretend wrist watch while a ref calls his score just a few days ago...That was very disrespectful when some shots are hard to see and it was uncalled for. Paul was doing his proper job as always. Cheers Paul and keep up the good work !

Too right mate! I rate myself as a scorer and always try to give the players their best chance to play well. Something can catch your eye and for a couple seconds your brain can't add up 43😂 That was me last week lol

You can absolutely tell he's a top man. Nice video from Modus, shocking treatment by the PDC. 17 year and no meeting or even phone call. Whoever was in charge of that decision and the process of letting Paul go needs to learn a bit of decency!

I think they handled it poorly, but I do like that the PDC has gone to younger callers. Its fair to the young callers to get their time. For Paul and Russ it was their time to step away

PDC needs to stop shooting themselves in the foot this way. They've lost a lot of iconic commentators so we're stuck with the bland. Russ Bray stepped down from doing majors into semi-retirement. Then they're messing with Paul Hinks. There aren't a lot of good referees. Who are we going to be down to? The soft-spoken, unenthusiastic ones from the Player's Championship streams? Ugh...

@@DjsavyyyI'm in Vietnam and can't get PDC here either. There's usually a youtube stream with some blacked out. Failing that, search for darts on the most popular streaming site that rhymes with stitch and there will always be 2/3 streams. Final option is vpn 😊 I can't stand world series, premier league etc, but I do enjoy the pro tours and majors.

Sad how the pdc treated Paul, I personally thought he was an excellent ref and loved his 180 call way better than russ brays. Those two new ish guys from the bdo, I can’t stand either of them. Politics eh

Yes it wasnt right. They could do atleast a little celebration for the fans or players. Yes the referres are not employeers of the PDC. They are freelancers and get booked if im right but still. Decades of working for the PDC and then one day just say goodbye and thats it. To the people who say the new caller are awful. I didnt like Huw aswell at the beginning. We all got used to the caller we know for years and we also will get used to the new caller. Dont disrespect them.

The PDC is a cheap and disloyal bunch. I can't wait until a proper investor/ promoter acquires it and runs it like it should. Matthew Porter is a such a terrible choice for CEO! The man's business acumen is non existent.
