Following in the steps of his self-titled debut solo album 'McCartney', featuring Paul playing every instrument and writing and recording every song, Paul McCartney releases 'McCartney III.’ Paul hadn’t planned to release an album in 2020, but in the isolation of “Rockdown,” he soon found himself fleshing out some existing musical sketches and writing even more new ones.
Lyrics -
Verse 1
Well I can find my way
I know my left from right
Because we never close
I’m open day and night
Verse 2
I know my way around
I walk towards the light
I’m open round the clock
I don’t get lost at night
Middle
You never used to be
Afraid of days like these
But now you’re overwhelmed
By your anxieties
Let me help you out
Let me be your guide
I can help you reach
The love you feel inside
[Repeat verse 1]
[Repeat middle]
[Repeat verse 2]
[Repeat middle]
I know my way around
I walk towards the light
I’m open round the clock
I don’t get lost at night

Long Promised Road featured just one new song which Brian only wrote rough melodic ideas of, and some other guy finished that. The rest of the songs are older songs he wrote. At My Piano has no new material and also doesn't count. And he just plays one instrument there, while sir Paul plays many different instruments on McCartney 3.

Paul has always come up with something to lift us up during the hardest times, back when he was with the Beatles and onward. I get down and I listen to him, and it ALWAYS picks me back up. He loves to spread the love, and is so freaking talented. The stars must have been aligned when the Beatles got together. I can't "Imagine" a world without them and their influence. I listen to this song every morning, it starts my day out right. I've had 2 vivid dreams years ago with Paul in them, he is a kind and unpretentious soul. I'm 61 disabled with multiple physical issues, and this song get me moving. I was introduced to the Beatles when I was 8 by a hippie female cousin who is no longer with us ono this plane, I see her beautiful spirit with me as we connect through the music that was so freely given to us with love. Paul has enough money he never has to record again. We are seeing a man in his element, doing and sharing what he loves. And (s)he loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah. With a love like that, you know it can't be bad. Now get THAT out of your head....lol

I love his old man voice. It expresses so much more than it used to. I mean, sure, it was always very expressive and powerful and beautiful, but now it genuinely sounds warm and kind and familiar. It’s SO GOOD. And I’m not saying this just because I’m a fan or because I’m old… matter of fact, I’m 33. But his voice, the way it is now, is so good as a tool to convey emotions. And I’m not shooting down Paul’s younger voice either, mind you, but that voice was good for the screams and growls (although he STILL pulls them off). Now his voice is wonderful for all his songs about vulnerability and love and kindness. It just hits so different.

Sir Paul continues to dazzle everyone by his 60+ year output... and always willing to experiment, no matter what the critics may think on this release or that. @The Good Lion Experience that’s absolutely rubbish. Rumour has been around since sergeant pepper came out and has absolutely no substance to it. Why would the Beatles put subliminal messages joking about the death of Paul? It would be extremely insensitive and no doubt the whistle would’ve been blown immediately if he actually did die. You can look for hidden messages in anything if you try, doesn’t mean any of it’s true.

Lo vemos mas rejuvenecido y transmitiendo ese bello mensaje de amor y paz a su hogar y famila, PAUL McCARTNEY nos enseña que aun a su edad se puede seguir dando lo mejor de uno. I rem when "Taste of Honey" was on radio by the Beatles (compare macca voice All Those Years Ago to this new song) - & an instrumental" Cry for a Shadow with Tony Sheridan ".. so won't argue the definition/ usage of the word "surreal" but as I face my own mortality I cannot imagine Paul not on the planet we now still share. The Beatles split up just as I graduated ... I don't mind "passing the torch" to the young who sift through the musical sandbox in time to llisten and enjoy the Beatles (separately or together). Cherish is the word.

I stumbled on Find My Way - Paul Mccartney and Beck first while watching KZfaq TV (WOW). I came to my phone to comment, which I rarely do, and found the original version. This version is good too, but the base line on the intro and arrangement of the same song is old school Paul on the one with Beck, and better in my opinion. That's what I love about Paul, he just keeps perfecting his songs like when he did Bluebird. I had the pleasure seeing him live with Linda and Wings. He did a fantastic new intro on the acoustic guitar to Bluebird and the rest is history. Fabulous!!!
