If John had lived and they had got back together for one last time, I think John would have made Paul perform this and done the harmonies with him. What a moment that would have been with George and Ringo smiling at each other.
@arthurdent91602 жыл бұрын
Surely not since this song contains digs against John and John knew it. It prompted him to write how do you sleep at night.

@James Chester. And I love the way how the crowd enjoys the atmosphere, music and being free to enjoy life: no face masks, no social distancing, and no modern Arian Declaration, named QR Code, that had turned millions of Unvaccinated citizens into second rate pariah. Unvaccinated are not allowed to attend concerts and even not make use of a WC in a restaurant. In our present dystopian world lives of young people and youths are scourged by an elite of nearly 100 years old monsters, who's expiring date lies decades behind them. They still like to play God and above all: forget to die.

Part of this song is directed at John "That was your first mistake - you took your lucky break and broke it in two." That was referring to him breaking up the Beatles when they were on top. John, however, thought the whole album was an attack on him, so he came back with way more fire with "How Do You Sleep". Paul was pissed off that John escalated it so much, and it just went back and forth like that.
