Paul mokeski is the most influential player of all time, without him the NBA wouldn't be what it is today, Paul was an offensive power house and could not be stopped on either sides of the court. He was and unstoppable force and an immovable object. Praise Moekeski

@@KardulakokBranep In general, I agree with you about Mokeski's greatness. It would be more realistic, however, to say a top 5 center, ever. When I see Victor Wembanyama play, and absolutely dominate, it definitely brings back memories of a young Paul Mokeski. I am a staunch Boston Celtics fan, and besides Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Mokeski is the only other center in the NBA that I dreaded having to go against, especially in the playoffs, 87 in particular, where he ate Boston up, and dominated Robert Parish. I always thought the Milwaukee Bucks were crazy to start Jack Sikma over Mokeski. The Bucks could've had their own version of the Twin Towers, better than even the 86 Rockets, had they started Paul Mokeski and Randy Breuer at the 4 and 5. Sikma should've been like Bill Walton was to the 86 Celtics, coming off the bench, to give Mokeski and Breuer a rest. I must tell you, that I was so happy to read your comment, and know that someone finally agrees with me, regarding Paul Mokeski. Great minds think alike, Sir! My top 5 greatest centers of all time are as follows... 1) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 2) Wilt Chamberlain 3) Paul Mokeski 4) Shaquille O' Neal 5) Akeem Olajuwon I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me your top 5 centers of all-time? Thank you, Sir. I am enjoying this conversation, and really appreciate your friendship. Susan 🙂

Yes, it was. As a Celtics fan, the only centers I feared us playing against was Paul Mokeski, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar even more so, because of his hook shot. I am right there with you, about including Randy Breuer. I thought the Bucks were foolish to start Jack Sikma at center. With Mokeski at center, and Breuer at power forward, and Sikma as 6th man, they are the only team in the NBA that could and would have stopped the 1986 Celtics, and 1987 Lakers.

Having been a teenage girl in the mid 80s, I am very familiar with Paul Mokeski. He was an excellent center, and very underrated. He was Victor Wembanyama, before Wembanyama. One of the very first centers with three point range, a solid, if not dominant, post player, incredible passing and rebounding skills, and most of all, he was a nice man. Never any hot dogging, drama, scandals, etc. And for a young lady like me, he was eye candy. Honestly, the only two NBA centers of all-time, that I'd rank as better than Mokeski, are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Wilt Chamberlain. Someday, I believe Wembanyama will surpass everybody, and be the greatest PLAYER to ever live, not just center. I always wanted my Boston Celtics to trade for Mokeski. He wasn't as flashy as Robert Parish, but, he had better passing, rebounding, and defensive skills than The Chief, and better hands. I truly believe Paul would've been a better fit, on the frontline with Larry Bird and Kevin McHale, than Parish was, and that's no disrespect for Robert Parish. He did a great job for the Boston Celtics. I am honored to have witnessed Paul Mokeski play in person, once. I live in California, and went to see the Bucks and Lakers, in the old "Fabulous Forum". Sadly, the Lakers won, but I got to see my beloved Paul, play in person. Yes, I admit, I had a huge crush on him, and I even thought his fellow big man, on the Bucks, Randy Breuer was kind of cute too, and a very underrated center. Both Mokeski and Breuer, were better overall centers than Jack Sikma, but for whatever reason, both Don Nelson and Del Harris, were more comfortable starting Sikma over Sweet Paul and Randy Breuer. Thank you BigPatrys15, for this cool video, it was so cool to watch. ♥ Susan 🙂

They were some very good teams though. If not for Boston, the Bucks would've won the 1986 NBA Finals over Houston. Those Buck teams could go 8-9 deep. Hodges, Moncrief, Sikma, Cummings, Pressey, Lucas, Mokeski, Breuer, Ricky Pierce, Alvin Robertson, and Cadillac Anderson. Not too bad at all!

As a horny young woman, I barely paid any attention to the actual game, after seeing Paul for the first time. OMG! All I could do, is watch Paul, and wish I was his girl! The second-cutest player in the NBA, at that time, was Danny Ainge. I loved his smile! Both Ainge and Mokeski were adorable men, but most importantly, both were gentleman.
