About the clothes: They are two sisters, and when they were kids they were enslaved, the warrior one was always a tough woman, but her sister was a shy and anxious girl. After they went through all the abuses of slavery the shy girl became traumatized of men's looks, so her sister started to wear that bikini armor to attract the lust of everyone around them to her, in order to spare her sister of it. That's also part of why Paul got so upset when he accused him of cheating and mocked her clothes.

There are 5 continents. The Central Continent (Primarily human nations), the Milis Continent(Mix of human nations and tribes like elves and beastmen), the Demon Continent (Primarily demon races), the Heaven Continent (Pretty much desolate), and the Begaritt Continent (Nomadic desert continent).

Many questions, let's handle them one by one. 1) People who are touching get teleported together. Otherwise, totally random. 2) Vierra wears a bikini to attract the gaze of men around them. She and her sister Shierra got found by bandits after the teleport and were turned into their playthings (you know what this means). The opnening has a scene of Paul rescuing them and other women. Vierra recovered fine, but Shierra freaks out whenever men look at her (If I recall correctly, she can handle Paul), hence the bikini to attract men away from her sister. By the way, Shierra is the mage with hair in front of her face. Paul didn't sleep with either of them, or any other woman since the Teleport Incident. 3) Go back to the description of their party in cour 1. Geese was the thief. 4) From the description of the novel, Geese should look more simian (like and ape/monkey). I don't know why they made him so human-like. 5) Map of the Six-Faced-World. Fittoa/Fedoa was up on the Northwest Corner, that lighter circle is the area of the Mana Disaster. Rikaris is on the Northeast corner. Travelling by sea wasn't an option, because the Sea Race forbids it. Trying to cross over the Sky Continent wouldn't be possible either, or it would be just as long, so the only way would be to travel South over Millis Continent. The Sea Race only allows travel between those port cities. She survived, but her mobility was affected. She was sacked. She was afraid of being assassinated because she had worked in the inner circle of the royal family. So she fled to Fittoa/Fedoa where she saw a request for a maid who had experience with children by the guy who has assaulted her 6 years before. She went to him planning to blackmail him, but she was welcomed him with open arms. Paul was 12 when he assaulted her, by the way. 8) There is no postal service in this world, people send letters through the Adventurers' Guild with travelling adventurers and merchants. 6 out of 7 letters don't really arrive.

They've hinted at it a couple times, but I guess it's not that easy to notice since you asked at the beginning. Only those who were physically touching each other got teleported together. Rudeus was grabbing Eris' hand, and Paul was carrying Norn. Edit 1: Also, a little back story on the "bikini lady" (notice I read the novel about the time it was being published in syosetsu, so I don't remember a lot of small details). She's the sister of the mage girl, but her sister (the mage girl who attacked Rudeus together with her in last chapter) is terribly afraid of men and cant even stand being stared at, so in order to be the focus of attention and give her sister some peace of mind, she decided to wore those revealing clothes. And it just became a habit eventually. Edit 2: Geese IS from the demon race, he looks quite human so you might've not noticed at first, but people have called him monkey or something several times already. Like the horse-face man, he's a monkey man, if that even makes sense to you hehe.

Some additional information that was omitted from the LN: - the place Paul was teleported to was way in the south to their home, near Lilia's hometown where Paul lived for a little over a year, training in the Water God Style. - in order to get back home after the displacement-incident he took an emergency-mission at the local guild for a delivery so he could get a free horse, despite the risk of losing his license since he didn't plan on returning the horse, much less actually fulfill the mission itself. It also took him 2 months to get back to where Buena Village was before the incident. - the old man in the suit he saw was actually one of the butlers at the Boreas Manor, and was managing a refugee-camp. - in the LN, Geese explained to Paul that he had actually been roaming around the Great Forest for a while, heard of a kid getting locked up by the doldia and used his connections to get himself tossed into rudy's jail. the part about being locked up for gambling was total fabrication. - Rudy also talked a lot more about his time in Roa as Eris' tutor, at which Paul notes that Philipp sent him a letter telling Paul he intended for Rudy and Eris to marry, even before Philipp talked with Rudy about "tying up eris in your bedroom" on his 10th birthday :D

Since the anime skipped the explanation about the girl wearing bikini armor, I'm gonna explain it. She and her sister (the mage girl next to her) were teleported and enslaved. During that time, her sister got raped and since then had a fear of people looking at her, especially stare from men (there is a scene during the OP where it shows Paul rescuing these girls then they joined his squad afterward). So she dressed like that to attract people's attention to herself instead of her sister. And Paul didn't touch those girls at all, nor did he touch any other woman besides his wives after the teleportation.

some insight about paul's drinking he started drinking because the more time he spent searching for survivors and saving them without any trace of his family, the more worried he grew, specially when he started to find dead survivors, and started to worry about him being late to save his family, which started to give him nightmares in which his dead family would blame him for arriving too late to save them, which is aluded by the image of rudy maimed and missing an arm blaming Paul for being too late. that's why he started to drink so much...

It's not that he was expecting Rudy to be wounded, it's that as time passed the people found dead started to become more common and the people found alive started getting less and less common so he was telling himself that even if he had found no one maybe Rudy would have found the others by that point, it was ultimately escapism for him to think that way but under that much stress you kinda need escapism...

I didn't get emotional at these past episodes when I read them in the manga or the LN, but ngl the anime did make me tear up a little bit at the beginning and when Paul started crying.

I'd like to list out some details that missed out in this episode without spoiling the later episodes of course: - If you guys didn't know yet, Geese was part of Paul's Party. Along with The Horny Elf and the Dwarf. If you remember last episode that he suggest Rudy to go to the Guild when they entered MIllis is because he already knows Paul is there. - I'm not sure if its in the manga or LN but when Geese was talking some sense to Paul, he brought Paul to the Sewers to fight a Strong Monster and say that this is nothing compared to what Rudy had been through. - The Inn where The reunion part with Paul took Place actually had people in it. - When Rudy looked up to see Paul's face and remembered his past. That guy was his only friend but he shunned him out because he is still suffering from Trauma. He DID NOT Choke him to death okay? The anime seemed to imply that for some reason but no he did not even kill him. He just kicked him out of his room in rage. - After the Make Up Scene with Paul, They actually did some kind of lunch party with Eris, Ruijerd and Norn. This part shows how Norn still despises Rudy but Rudy does something there to make her think a little bit twice. Sad it wasn't added here. -That last scene where the two girls (i dont know those two girl's names) who are members of Paul's group, was shown to be happy when Paul announced he will arrange a strategy meeting. If I remember correctly, Paul's attendance towards his own strategy meetings have declined over the past year so to see him be enthusiastic about holding a meeting was pleasantly surprising for them. 13:35 There are a total of 5 continents. The biggest is the "Central" continent, stretching from the north-east to the "middle" of the world, and from North to south, bending towards the west. Below that, in the south-western corner, is the Begaritt Continent. In the south-west is the Millis Continent, in the north-east is the Demon Continent and between the Demon continent and the Central Continent is the "Heavenly" continent in the center-North. There was a Mushoku Tensei map of the continents and someone on reddit did chart whole Rudeus journey from he's born until she found her mom. It is a really long journey and that's doesn't include until his old age.

In ep16 something was left out of the anime, while Eris was out hunting Goblins and before Rudeus fought his dad, Norn saw Ruijerd in town doing something that impressed her. In this episode Norn already holds Ruijerd in great respect. That is why she had that look in the end when Ruijerd gave her a pat on the head

There are 5 continents and they form more of an O than a U. It’s just that one of them, the Heaven Continent, which we never see in the story, is 3000 meters above sea level so it’s impossible to get to. The rest of the continents are the Central Continent, home of the Asura Kingdom, which is where the Fittoa region is, which is where both Roa(Eris’s hometown) and Buena Village(Rudy’s hometown) are. Then there’s the Demon Continent, which is where Rudy and Eris were teleported to. There’s also the Millis Continent, which is where they are now, and where Zenith is from. These 3 continents form the U you were talking about in the O, with the Millis Continent being between the Central and Demon Continents. The fifth continent, Bergaritt Continent, is where Geese is going, and that is the only continent not in the O, but is connected to the Central Continent at two points. The Central Continent is called central because it’s the only continent connected to *three* other continents(the others are all only connected to two continents). It’s connected to the Heaven Continent in the north, the Millis Continent in the south east, and the Begaritt Continent in both the south and south west. I thought the reason why he saw Rudy fucked up at 07:55 was because Geese put the idea in his head, not because it could happen. Also, im not sure if it was just in the manga or was in the ln too (i read the novel ages ago), but Geese asked Paul how would Zenith react the first time she saw Rudy. I think if it was Zenith instead of Paul in Milishion, she would've just jumped at him, no questions asked.

a fun thing of teleportation is that it takes your mana as it teleports you, that is why Rudy got teleported.the f tp the demon continent, as a mage, he's got a lot of mana, normal people got teleported closer to where they were. now some suckers, what if you have q lot of mana, but don't know how to use magic... well sucks to be you. also, the distance is not only in two directions, some also got teleported up.

No one got grouped unless they were touching each other at the moment of the disaster.

We already knew both Paul and Rudeus aren't the most upstanding people. They are both capable of doing horrible things especially when they are down in a dark place like Paul and Rudeus's previous life (and SPOILER) Yeah. Just like regular human beings.

For the continents, Milis Continent was only the 2nd continent. That was where they were using the smuggler to get Ruijerd from the Demon Continent across the ocean to reach Milis and they are still on the Milis Continent. They haven't yet gone all the way to the Central Continent yet.

Vierra wears the bikini armor for a pretty good reason imo Ill post that in the spoiler below if you want to read that. Might put a couple other details missed from the episode like some stuff on paul and the continents. This episode was so well adapted considering everything they had to put into it. I cant fault them for anything missed really. This kind of episode always gets me emotional cause I miss my parents and will never be able to see them again. We didnt leave on bad terms or anything like that but yea still gets my feels going. Love the reaction as usual though! I am looking forward to whats coming up in the later half of this season! SPOILERY/MISSED CONTENT BEYOND: So when Vierra and Sherra who are sisters were caught up in the transportation disaster they were captured by bandits and sexually assaulted among other things. Paul came and rescued them and Vierra overcame her trauma by sheer willpower. While Sherra (the one always wearing robes and looking down) is terrified by men even looking at her and other women rescued have similar traumas. Vierra wears the bikini armor specifically to draw away the gazes of men from other women to her to try and lessen their discomfort. Vierra plays an important part in the Fittoa search and rescue in Pauls eyes. Paul hasnt slept with any women since the displacement incident and instead turned to Alcohol to try and relieve stress built up over time instead of sleeping around. He has grown as a person and learned from his past mistakes as far as Im concerned. Paul and Norns Journey took 2 months to get from where they were teleported back to the Fittoa region. Paul was teleported near where him and Lillia studied the water god style in Lillias home town actually. To get back to the Fittoa region as fast as he could he took on an emergency quest and got a horse from the adventurers guild and had no intention of completing it so he got fined for that when he turned the horse back in. Norn got sick on their journey as we saw and Paul did everything he could to keep her alive and she sees that and what all Paul does with helping people and the struggles hes been through which is why she is so attached to him and protective of him even against family as we see with Rudy. As far as the continents go there are the Central continent, Milis Continent, Demon Continent, Heavens Continent, and Begaritt Continent. Central continent is where Rudy is from it is also the largest landmass then to the south west is Begaritt. To the south east of Central continent is the Milis continent (where they are right now/ just left is the capital of that continent the city of Milis). Then North West of the Milis continent is the Demon continent. The Heavens continent is at the very north of the map that is like a small bridge between the Central and Demon Continents but it is sheer cliffs and very dangerous to traverse. All of these continents form a circle with a big sea in the center outside of Begarrit which is kind of off outside the circle. Ill attach a picture link for you to see. Not only does Rudy grow as a character, so does Paul and many around him.

Part of why he thought about Sylphie before his mom is because he assumed the rest of his family was alright due to seeing Norn with Paul.

Millis Continent (Here in this EP) Begaritt Continent U shaped route just like you said, the Begaritt continent is on the left side of the Central, not necessary to traverse to get home. The central Continent is bigger than the Demon & Millis Continents combined, the Fittoa Region (Rudy's home) is in the upper part of the Central Continent.

So listen up There is a scene in the manga that shows that people are transported together in the mana disaster if there touching, Norn and Paul were touching but, it was shown at the time Zenith was touching no one so she got teleported alone, But Aisha and Lilia were touching so they got teleported together. (This is just my speculation). I suggest you read chapter 35 Of the manga as the entire second half is much more detailed then in the anime.

I'm assuming Lilia and Aishia are together, cuz Lilia might be carrying Aishia as well just like Paul. The only worry left is Zenith. ALL ALONE BRUH. I'm so scared about that.

The sad part they cut off, if i remember correctly in the light novel Geese get him with the "How Zenith would have react if she have found him first ?" For the clothing it's a spoiler but i'm not sure they will explain it so.. be aware - - - - - Y'know the two girl? One have a very bad experience with a man, and she couldnt stand the man staring at her, so her sister decide to walk almost naked to make the people stare at her and not her sister.

A few comments. Mushoku Tensei's World is fucked up, rape and sexual crimes are a common occurrence there, specially coming from the upper class or royalty, so when people say "enslaved" 8 out of 10 times are usually used for rape instead of servitude, the Royalty is really fucked up. Regarding that girl with almost no clothes it has a reason, as people probably already told you the other girl is her sister and she was "enslaved" too by multiple people, probably at the same time (based on how it was described in the web novel), so her sister being more "tough" decided to wore those clothes so the male gaze went directly towards her body and spare her sister to relieve her trauma. With the continents, it's like you said, the three major continents form a "U", the left side is the Central Continent, there is mostly human kingdoms, the bigger of them is the Asura Kingdom, the Greyrats are a Noble House from that Kingdom, the Fitoa Region was a region of the Asura Kingdom, inside the Fitoa Region was the Bonna Village (Rudeus hometown). The Millis Continent is the lower side of the "U" and there's a division there, Millishion and the region where the other races reside in (beastmen, elves, dwarfs), millishion is the home city of the Millis religion (most support magic comes from here, and is Zenith's hometown), it being a religion have a deep hatred towards the demon race. To the right is the Demon continent, there's really nothing much to add. At the North of the Sea in the middle of the continents is the "Heaven continent", the few populated places that live there dont interact with others and nothing much is know about that continent, except that they can be considered "fish people". And finally to the Southwest of the Central Continent is the Begaritto continent, imagine Australia, that continent has "Middle East Civilizations" as reference for the cities, but is mostly desert, if the Demon Continent is dangerous, Begaritto is MORE dangerous but for different reasons. So basically the world map looks like this: "、Û" Regarding Lilia's training, I dont want to get into details because it might come up in future chapters, just like a lot of stuff I'm always hesitant to explain, because while they might not appear at the same time as the novels, they can probably be explained in future chapters.

I think there's like 5 continents central in the middle and the others roughly in the corners of the top of my head there's demon, central, begaritt, Millis and something else I think Edit: Ah yes the heaven continent had to look it up on a map it's really unrelevant to the point i've read though and it's by far the smallest continent Edit 2: The continents are shaped like a U. central is up left, demon is up right and Millis is right below demon. Begaritt is kinda to the right side below central and the heaven continent connects demon and central at the top

Milis Continent is on the lower side of the U. Demon Continent on the Right and Central is in the left of the U. there two more continent which is Begaritt that is in the lower side of central and left side of milis and heaven continent on the upperside of the U

Not at all confusing, all right side is demon continent, and then all left side is Millis continent in the south, central continent where Rudy lives and north continent, which is as close to demon continent in the north as the south is, but has worse monsters the more you go to the north. So that's why it wasn't an option.

Just so you don't overly confused, the name central continent is the convenient way human named it. It is not located central to anything. In fact it would be located at far west of the world. The name central, just the way human race refer it, just like every king named their country the center of the world. It just stupid pride things.

I knew the anime would skip the explanation of why that woman dressed in such skimpy armor. For all you anime-only’s, the reason is because the other woman she’s always hanging around with is afraid of men due to bad experiences with men(if I remember correctly, she is also a victim of the teleportation incident, and her bad experiences with men are related to that). So she wears skimpy armor to draw men’s gazes away from her androphobic friend. So she dresses that way for a selfless reason. Paul doesn’t make her dress that way, and he’s never even touched her. He hasn’t touched *any* woman since the teleportation incident happened. That’s how desperate he is to find his family.

I think that Eris is just putting a strong front in this episode, and don't think she really expected what Rudeus have said...

Yeah, the lightness explains that the chick in the bikini armor wore it so that the other woman who is always with her feels safe. I guess that woman was raped and abused after she was telephoned. This traumatized her for the obvious reason. So bikini girl wears the scant option to ensure that all men have their eyes on her and not the other woman. The relationship she has with Paul is purely platonic. She wants to help Paul out of gratitude, no interest in him and he in her.

They skipped so much in this episode. There was a lot of entertaining banter with our characters. Geese had even told his father how Rudy and he met. That was entertaining to say the least. Granted, it still was an emotional episode.

Paul didn't hope Rudeus would come to him in rags at all but after a year of no contact after placing the message, that's when he started worrying. He thinks extremely highly of his son and thought that traveling and defending himself would be easy especially when learning he had a Superd by his side. I dislike how quickly you went from Paul is a great dude to Paul is shit just because he doesn't have all of the information we do. Not putting yourself in his shoes at all. Therefore useless commentary.

It's great that Paul went over to apologize, props to him. But let's not go to crazy, he only did it after Geese gave him a hell of a speech and a reality check. There is too strong a narrative from people that Rudeus is so horrible. And because of that it seems often people exaggerate the "good" from other characters (to use as comparison and make Rudeus be worse) and quite exaggerate the "bad" from Rudeus.
