To be expected imo, when you watch a lot of anime you’ll tend overlook a lot the intricate details.

I’ve seen quite a few reactors saying it too or at least it looked like they were figuring it out.

There was a lot to take in this episode so I don't blame the others. They'd probably realize it after re-watching it on their own.

@@FreshestAnime He looked pretty angry when he said that he doesn't know. In my opinion it could mean 2 things. Either he really doesn't know and that makes him mad or he knows but failed to prevent it from happening and that's why he is angry.

i feel like the teleportation disaster was somehow caused by Rudeus and the reason the Dragon God didnt know about it is because Rudeus isnt supposed to exist, thats why he was surprised to run into Ruijerd and Eris. Without the disaster (Which i believe Rudeus caused) Ruijerd and Eris would have never teamed up and even gone to where they met the Dragon God. Thats also why the Dragon God was surprised by how strong Eris is. He knew she had potential but Ruijerd refined her techniques to a level he didnt expect.

I want to tell you the cause of it, but it will result into spoiler. However, the spoiler has nothing to do with the main story, we know the result, but not the cause. The cause is related to completely different characters that will not appear in the main story. I think the author leave the cause for sequel or maybe a side story that will be make into movie much later to connect everything. The cause is so confusing that even if you read the whole Light Novel, most people still not get it or think more explanation will be given out in sequel. Anyway, *spoiler* if you want to read further, it just adds more lore to the story. 80 years in the future, a summon ceremony get to perform to summon a hero in certain country, a young boy get summon into this world by a Miko who can revert time back to 24 hours and she also relive her entire life in a loop at the moment of her dead with all the memories intact. The ceremony is something that completely new to the Miko in this life cycle. The young boy who got summon into this world as a hero has no war knowledge or mentality for it similar to Subaru from Re;Zero, but he changed the life-style of Miko to make her fall in love with him and allows Miko to enjoy life that is much different than all the cycles before. Needless to say, the young boy got force into battle and eventually got capture and beheaded in his first battle and the Miko couldn't get there within 24 hours to revive the young boy. Later the kingdom lost the war while the Miko used all her mana to try to revert back to the day of summoning to change the history. HOWEVER, the Miko tries to search for similar presence as the boy, but the magic trace back to 80 years in the past. A summon circle was about to form, but the will of the world interfere, the clash created a small crack in time and space, a single soul of recently deceased person manage to get through since this person was near the young boy. 10 years later, Rudeus, someone who is not supposed to exist in this world and his interaction with many people in this world open the rift little by little and lead them to different paths. At the 10 years mark, the crack final get big enough and so the Teleportation Incident happens. A young girl get summon into this world, this is the same girl that Rudeus saved and the young boy mentioned earlier is the same young boy with young girl as they are the real target of Truck-kun, not Rudeus.

@@avishekshrestha4564 long story short; the body Rudeus reincarnated into was supposed to be a stillborn, and so Paul and Zenith was "supposed" to have two daughters but the third child died after he was born... after his death, Rudeus "possessed" the stillborn and as a result Paul and Zenith have a third child (Rudeus) that they weren't originally supposed to have so yeah, Rudeus is an anomaly to say the least

Actually though there are 2 factors as to why rudy has such a massive mana pool, one I will not say since it might be a spoiler, two is that he's been using magic since he was a child, remember the more you use magic the higher your mana pool goes up, and because he was spamming water ball every single day along with learning magic from roxy, his mana pool is incredibly large by this point, not to mention he was also using earth magic to create figurines which took him 100% of his concentration to make sure the mana is properly distributed while making his figurines thereby making his mana pool even more higher.

Following spoiler is just from lore and it connects to Sylphy a little, similar to Bless and Curse Child. *spoiler* Sylphy has Laplace Factor, a seed Laplace spread to small amount of people in preparation for his resurrections in the far future. Laplace Factor appears after Laplace's death. The chance of having Laplace Factor is higher than Bless or Curse and Rudeus is one of them, it gives children with high magic potential and able to increase mana through training before the age of 10. However, like Orsted said, Rudy supposed to not exist in this world because Laplace Factor also has a high chance of stillborn. Rudy is someone who train magic since he was around 1 years old, that's why Rudy able to get such a big mana capacity because if everyone can do it, the world would have lots and lots of Laplace level already. It's also explain why Rudeus is so good with magic just like Sylphy and able to do chantless. It also fill in one of the plot hole from the start that Rudy is so good with magic, then wouldn't every Nobles able to get theirs children to be good at magic as well and be like Laplace?

@@johnwong5317 Spoiler: I think that is not a plot hole. If I am not mistaken, usually the nobles start training up their magic at the age of 10 or up so it probably wont go high anymore. So they think that the mana capacity is determined by birth. I think Orsted said something that even though rudy has Laplace factor, his training and effort gives more impact than Laplace factor. It only gives him mana affinity and high ceiling magic capacity. And given the fact that Julie(zanoba's slave), can make a lot of dolls using her earth magic as the time goes by, proves that Rudy's theory is correct. But I am not saying that julie can have as much as Rudy's mana cause she does'nt have laplace factor.

@@aizwallenstein4238 I talked this over with some people and the key is Chantless to increase mana capacity at noticeable rate. Without chantless, people have to spend time to chant the spell and even with shorten version of the chant, it will still take time. So the amount of spell and mana they can use in 1 hour depend on how long the chant and what type of spell. Most Nobles at below age 10 can only use like Basic spell and you can imagine them trying to increase mana with repeat chanting, most of them would be lazy out or take a while to get theirs mana to empty, but it's only increase a small amount that most probably won't notice or think it won't worth it.

That's exactly why we buy the volumes, to support the Author's work. Purchasing the source material shows the suits behind the anime that we like it so they keep making more. With that said, Mushoku Tensei will still get animated regardless because that's just part of the authors terms (or so I've heard).

@@FreshestAnime Yup, I guess I was writing it as a sort of a PSA to those who can't afford to buy the light novels, or those who wants to "try before you buy". In some sense, I'm thankful to the author for leaving the WN version up while releasing the LN version as a means for fans to support the author's work. I think he is also one of the few authors who started leaving the WN version online (prior LNs removed their WN version, like SAO), and a lot of authors do that now (Shield Hero, Tensura, Bookworm, etc.). I might be wrong about this though.
