It's all about timing. From last season to this. Takeover, recruitment & staff. Something has gone wrong with the squad since last May. Their philosophy, output and desire. Bolton & peterborough being the exceptions. Some good apples have become rotten and some puppies are not responding to the masters commands. A clear out of the squad is needed. Pay off those who have had a season of none performance and those whose contracts are up...get rid...if we can't recruit a squad from an area from Manchester to Glasgow to compete and wun league Two backed by the Piataks who grossed ni on £600 million last year then fuk me there is something more wrong

He's been bloody awful. I was hoping that once the relegation was confirmed, Breeze was going to get his opportunity to put Lewis under some pressure for the keeper position for next season. I hope they both push one another to get better, or it could just prove to be another issue in the end of Simpson's reign.

In hindsight, it wouldn't have made that much of a difference if Holy had played the rest of the season. I just get the impression that he's just too nice of a bloke to be a top keeper. Doesn't have that bit of "nastiness" to control his area. In saying that, defensively, we have been awful this season overall. Some of the blame has to lie with them too.

I don’t think Simmo can change the style of football we limped into league one I don’t think he can change it he’s had 46 games to change the way we play and hasn’t done it so why will he change I personally don’t see Simmo in charge this time next season

@@andrewswinglehurst8102 He is going to be in charge 100% but I agree what you are saying. We definitely had a style in League 2 with the spine of the team being strong and pacey attackers.. and Denis was on fire in front of goal. This season the players that left weren't replaced unfortunately.. I think Simmo can adapt but he won't have long and it's important we get pace on the team and a solid defence

Get this mess sorted out Simmo. Get new fresh hungry players who want to play for you & get rid of the moneypot or lazy players. Also get rid of Abbott, Skelton & any other muppets who you have in the back room since Pressley & Beech’s time. Bring in your own staff.

As an agitating outsider, even I reckon that’s really nasty towards a club legend. Simpson got you promoted against the odds last season. Typical churlish, small-minded, simple Carlisle fan reaction, indicative of many (but not the whole of course).
