It was a beautiful tribute to his heritage. His grandparents are such an adorable couple. Plus Paul is so talented, so It was really nice to watch! I really regret I didn't make it to Warsaw though. It's 4 hours away from my home, but of course I'm so lucky that by the time I found out Paul is there, he was already gone. -.-

Such an amazing story! This video should've been longer... My Polish name is Pawel Jan Gorzkowski, the youngest of seven children. I don't know much about my polish heritage. All I know is that my real father (one of seven or eight children) was just a baby when his parents escaped with all of their children from what my mother told me when I was younger, was from Warsaw, Poland sometime in the early 1940's to America. He and my mother (American) met in New Jersey some time in the late 1950's. The reason I don't know much about my father or my heritage is because he abandoned us kids when I was just four years old (1974). The last I heard anything about my real father was in September 1991 when my mother received a phone call that he had died from Cirrhosis of the Liver in New York. I've always been interested in finding out about my Polish heritage. From my understanding, all of those in his family who had migrated from Poland have died through the years. I once tried Ancestry.com and but I couldn't find anything on his family in Poland or before their arrival to America from Poland. I appreciate Paul Wesley sharing his story. I just wish he could have shown more of what it's like there.

It's really nice to meet your heritage!!! I wish i was able....i mean if i was able to meet my great grandpa and great grandam from my mum's dad parents side i would be in Bulgeria (Eastern Rumelia) or Greece depenes on the year i would go to meet them but if i was going to my dad's grandparents i would be in Turkey but they are dead and now i'm in Greece I'm the thrid generation that lives in Greece from my dad's side but fourth for my mum's side!! Confusing I know!!!!
